good posting news up Mid, especially the NPL for me for I'm invested watching being one son is in U20's and versed their winning team. Only by that much mind you, their semi up at Pluim went to extra time and CCM U20 got a scrappy winner with 5mins to go. Yep a win is a win but tbh the Spartans had their chances to finsih it off but didn't. That was 1st place vs 4th. Overall just glad for CCM having some promising youngsters incl 1st's. Hope they use as many as they have at their disposal instead of buying other known players.

So, what ownership model will the Mariners and FFA announce soon, Community 20% plus Owner 80% partnership? The FFA are trying to break all the 'due diligence' records that ever existed with regard to how long it takes to perform this exercise. How does the process of this 'due diligence' work and who is doing it? Has it started? Is there an end date? I think as many do, FFA, McKinna and Mielenkamp are all full of shit! Make no mistake, just talking up their clubs with no substance and just hot air.

A few in the U20's have played in Joeys as well. So CCM have a crop to nurish. Couldn't believe Hakoah got though to the GF tbh, their game was long ball what I saw through the season but they made it lol...to be embarrassed got punished.

Tbf Hakoah’s team is largely 17 years olds, pretty impressive imo, they also lost a lot of players over the course of the season particularly after Covid

Coastie coming home. https://www.ccmariners.com.au/news/oliver-bozanic-returns-marinersA-League Championship winner Oliver Bozanic has returned to the Central Coast Mariners on a multi-year deal ahead of the 2020/21 A-League season. After leaving Hearts at the conclusion of the COVID-19 shortened Scottish Premier League season, Bozanic trained with the Mariners through some of the restart period and has now linked up with the group as they prepare for the 2020/21 A-League season. Bozanic spent three years on the Coast in his first stint at the Mariners, appearing 70 times and scoring three goals as he won a Premiership and a Championship with the Club.
Stints followed at Luzern, Melbourne Victory, Ventforet Kofu and more recently Hearts where he featured regularly, but he now returns home and will be an important leader and senior figure amongst a talented young squad.Mariners Head Coach Alen Stajcic praised the return of Bozanic to the Club and said he was looking forward to seeing what the midfielder could bring to the group.
“All of us are very excited to have a player with the calibre of Ollie joining our squad ahead of the new season,” Stajcic said.
“He is a player with plenty of time both in the A-League and further abroad and will bring a wealth of experience to the group both on and off the field.”
“He is a great fit here not only as a player but also as someone that can be a leader in our squad and that’s something that will be very important this season.”With a couple of weeks training now under his belt, Bozanic said he is enjoying settling in and working with his new teammates ahead of the season start.
“It’s really great to be back on the Coast and playing for my hometown Club,” he said.“I’m really excited to just get going and be a part of it.
”“There’s a great bunch of boys here.
We have all been working really hard in these first few weeks. I’m excited and positive for the challenge ahead of us this season.
”Current Squad (Announced): Mark Birighitti (GK), Jack Clisby, Oliver Bozanic, Daniel DeSilva, Adam Pearce, Kye Rowles, Gianni Stensness, Ruon Tongyik, Joshua Nisbet, Lewis Miller, Alou Kuol

Bench - Nisbet, Ruiz Diaz, Dan Hall, Tongyik, Kuol Why isn't Lewis Miller a CB, he certainly is big and intimidating enough. Tongyik was higher quality than either Rowles or Clisby for that matter. Birri as captain and Oli as v-c.

+xOlyroo Bowman the new CB? He’s an AM and based on his Olyroos’s performances, not a very good one. Genuinely have no idea why they are signing him unless DRD is going.

22-year old Olyroo Daniel Bouman has joined the Central Coast Mariners for the A-League 2020/21 season.Bouman was part of the team that helped the Olyroos qualify for the Tokyo Olympics and had been training with Alen Stajcic’s Hyundai A-League squad throughout the season restart. He has now put pen to paper on a contract for the new season which is slated to start in December. The Dutch-born attacking midfielder, who spent his junior years playing club football in Sydney, moved back to the Netherlands with family in 2014 and joined the Groningen youth setup in that same year. A strong stint in the youth ranks at Groningen saw Bouman on the fringes of the first team, but a move to SC Cambuur gave him consistent experience around the senior squad and his side were on the verge of promotion before the pandemic struck.
A move back to Australia to further his career culminated in a training stint with the Mariners and then a senior deal for the upcoming season. “It’s massive for me, to help me move forward in my professional career,” Bouman said after signing his deal. “It’s what any kid wants when they are younger. I always dreamed of playing football professionally and it’s a bit surreal when you think about it, that it’s become a reality from such a young age.” “I used to watch football all the time and come to Mariners games every once in a while, so to be able to join this club is huge for me.” “The training period has been great for me to come in and work with the team, form a relationship with Staj and learn the way they want to play.” “The last couple of seasons here have been leaner years, but when I was younger the Mariners were always a strong team and one that was near the top, and I know that is where this club deserves to be and I want to help the Mariners to get back up there.”
Stajcic praised the youngster for his willingness to work hard and his hunger to succeed and said Bouman would be a great addition to the squad moving forward. “Dan has spent the last few years in Holland and has had to work hard and grind himself to get to where he is now,” Stajcic said.“He has shown a great deal of professionalism as well as a desire and hunger to succeed and that has brought him to this point.
“Being part of the Olyroos side that secured qualification for Tokyo gives an indication of how highly regarded he is here in Australia and we’re very excited to have secured him for next season.
Current Squad (Announced): Mark Birighitti (GK), Jack Clisby, Oliver Bozanic, Daniel DeSilva, Adam Pearce (GK), Kye Rowles, Gianni Stensness, Ruon Tongyik, Joshua Nisbet, Lewis Miller, Alou Kuol, Daniel Bouman https://www.ccmariners.com.au/news/olyroo-daniel-bouman-signs-mariners
