I haven't coached in a few years. That's my choice. Altho' I'm regularly chased for a (paid) position. One only three months ago at a well performing HAL club. My interest waned when I hung up my boots in 2009 (after winning gold at World Masters). Playing was always my first footballing love.

Batfink, You have to learn how to interpret Judy Free's words and the real meaning.

I haven't coached in a few years. That's my choice.

And everyone elses.

Altho' I'm regularly chased for a (paid) position.

Good janitors and ticket collectors are in big demand.

Fifa 2009 on Sony playstation. The world was his oyster!

My interest waned when I hung up my boots in 2009 (after winning gold at World Masters).

What a great year that was! We all celebrated at the nursing home sucking down a steak n pumpkin dinner through a straw and chugging down a bottle of grecian 2000. Good times!!

That same night someone at the nursing home slipped him a viagra and he woke up the next morning with a stiff neck

Playing was always my first footballing love.

Nothing like placing 4 large pizza's, 5 bottles of pepsi, 4 garlic breads and a mini tv on his belly and getting serious with 8 hrs straight of football on sony playstation.

And full credit to Judy Free as using a playstation controller without opposing thumbs is no easy task! =d>

Just been sharpening my interweb search skills.

Three things:

1) Your Office Address - "Suite 1 Ground Level", from a Blacktown residential address?

2) "Our Sydney Metropolitan Office" - how many offices do you operate?

3) And FFS do something about that driveway

It is easy to understand why you and the dodgy akadumy operator have a fair bit in common. Smoke, mirrors, ethically/morally bankrupt, delusions of mediocrity.

I forgot about this.

Now, aussie, if you want me to believe your claims (re ASA) you need to establish a bit of credibility.

Again, why does one advertise a residential home office as "Suite 1, Ground Level"?

Illusion?
Smoke?
Mirrors?
Deception?

This is the funniest post I've seen on a football forum, Aussiesrus!!!! I split my sides laughing.

For those well-meaning folk who've PMed me telling me to ignore Judy Free and his incessant trolling for the greater good of the forum, sorry, but a few of us have endured Judy Free's obnoxious behaviour forfive years on a number of forums. Let us enjoy our time in the sun.:d

Judy has been yellow carded at least twice on 442. Let us enjoy a classic faux pas until Judy's inevitable and imminent red card on 442. Then he can wallow in his permanent banishment from 442 with his good mate Rabid.

In fact if Judy keeps posting gems like this, I hope he stays on 442 permanently. Until this 'gold dust' post, I was hoping he would be banished forever every day since he became a member in early April.

Now I hope he stays on indefinitely to endure the ignominy of this classic fatuous post. It discloses more about him than all the rest of the five long suffering years I and many other posters have had to endure.

After Judy Free's inevitable and inexorable red card the forum will return to a civilised discussion forum for football coaches and fans.

This forum doesn't reflect the views of the troll mating season centre of Judy Free's No Holds Barred Forum mate. It might be a little more mainstream.

Nope, never seen him take that view before.

Many members of 442 have disagreed with views I've put forward on football. Good on them for proffering different opinions.

The difference is we agree to disagree and move on. Over time one's view can change with exposure to different perspectives. Diversity of opinion is welcome and it exposes one to new ideas.

Arosina, Skeptic, Joffa, General Ashnak, Skinet, Localstar, Gyfox, Arthur, Gregory Parker, Dirk Van Adidas, Benjamin, NIckkar, Heartinator, Glory Perth, Kevin Airs, Ton Of Bricks and a plethora of other 442 members have taken positions which at the time, were, or have been different to mine. Why can't you do the same with my posts and most other 442 members' posts?](*,)

According to you these people, all significant entities in the football milieu in one way or another apart from me, are frauds - Pim Verbeek, Henk Duut, Han Berger, Jan Versleijen, Rob Baan, Raymond Verheijen, Dean May, Ken Morton, Tony Basha, all people who work for the KNVB, John Boultbee, Kelly Cross, Simon Clifford (BSS), Ben Buckley, Walter Pless, and probably the late Wiel Coerver, with yours truly being the worst of the lot.
It is probably a reflection of a lot of your fear of the world, hence, a manifest, outright cynicism and a bizarre need to stifle and hijack most constructive discussion about football on the internet.:-k

A different way to approach Asian tours and ASA would be to attend training at ASA and observe what they do on the training track. Then compare it with your nebulous training ground regime, that according to you, makes you such a sought after commodity for a number of A League coaching positions.

An underage Korean team touring Tasmania opened many people's eyes to a different emphasis about approaching football.:)

It seems Football Federation Tasmania wants us to coach rep/club teams.

Then, if that's FFT policy it has to be adhered to enable PL insurance, doesn't it?

I missed the answer the this. If you can't have PL insurance without adherence to the policies of FFT, why are you refusing to meet the requirements? Are you asking FFT for an exception to their policies and why?

Sounds like what this Basha character did with his ASA boy Bryan Soane.

Lets not forget he openly mocked Matt Simon and rated Soane "as better than Simon already" and wondered why Simon was anywhere near the HAL based NT.

Quick check of the facts...

Matt Simon (Age 25) = A consistent HAL player with 32 goals in just over a 100 games plus goals in Asia and at Olyroos level.

Bryan Soane (Age 23) = 13 games in the friggin Singapore league and scored just 3 goals. Now home with tail between legs, contract not extended at Bushpig Khalsa.

Better than Matt Simon, my arse. Hard not to question Basha's judgement when he makes such ludicrous claims.

How about 442 do a follow up story on this? Aido?

Exactly! some sense.
Why send a player on tour, culture, get them out of the house, language,to be with friends, skill development, extra coaching or intense opposition?

Before sending a player on a tour parents need to asses is it value for money?
Is it what the player needs or would they be better off going to FFE over the summer?
If it is for football ,good.
If it is for culture save your money and go as a family.

Better than Matt Simon, my arse. Hard not to question Basha's judgement when he makes such ludicrous claims.

How about 442 do a follow up story on this? Aido?

Sounds like what this Basha character did with his ASA boy Bryan Soane.

Lets not forget he openly mocked Matt Simon and rated Soane "as better than Simon already" and wondered why Simon was anywhere near the HAL based NT.

Quick check of the facts...

Well I was gonna go to town on a few posts you made in a thread about the setup of the Socceroos but I've already gone over so much of this stuff before I decided against it.

I look forward to your insights. Here is the link above. I was asked to start the post by another member. After a few days of socialising, I will get around to putting up what I think is our best team in a few days.

I always enjoyed your insightful perspectives in the past, Arosina.

With dementia setting in, I can't remember what your views were, except they were well thought out and well written, even if differing from mine.:)

[quote=Arosina Plus how many on 442 would actually understand what I say? Somewhat futile methinks.

Very poor judgement, Arosina, and very patronising. Not like the prudent poster I knew in the past.:-k

There are quite a number of experienced and qualified FFA coaches and players who post on here. This doesn't include the following:

There is one elite coach who contributes.

A former national technical director and senior A League coach who has entered posts.

A former Australian representative (when he was in his 20s, not a national geriatric champion of social football) who consistently posts on 442. He has probably exchanged views with you.

One renowned football writer and former college player in the US with a FFA coaching A Licence who visits 442, but doesn't post.

One overseas international assistant coach in Asia who visits 442, but doesn't post. He wants to get back to Australia.

Amongst three former Socceroo coaches who feel rejected by the current regime, they are interested to see what is written about their tenures across internet forums. They have all visited 442 forum.

Another infrequent contributor who has made guest analyses for The Round Ball Analyst.

A national coach from a Pacific Island who wanted info about KNVB courses.

A poster who has played elite level football and regularly posts in this section.

A poster who writes specialist columns for 442 analysing specific players.

A frequent poster who is a former English professional apprentice at youth level.

And that doesn't include the biggest name of all - the frequent poster who is a national geriatric champion as a 50 year old playing against 75 year old social footballers, and, who has been offered a paid position coaching at a number of A League clubs. Instead he has turned his back on coaching chooses to spend his time trolling interent football forums and trying to stifle football discussion!!!!](*,)

I think all these guys would have an excellent understanding about anything you post.:)

I'd tread very warily suggesting they would have no understanding.](*,)

Arosina,

You have raised some very good points worthy of further discussion.

Firstly,
To understand Tony Basha's views on Bryan Soane we must take a look at what type of player Bryan was.

Bryan played for Sydney United, Blacktown City and Sydney Wanderers.

2003 - Sydney United u/15's, Player of the year, Golden boot 16 goals.
2004 - Sydney United, u/16's Selected for invitation to train with Valencia, Real madrid.
2005 - Blacktown City, U/18's Player of the year, Golden boot 18 goals.
2006 - Blacktown City, U/20's Scored 21 goals.
2007 - Blacktown City, 1st grade, Golden boot 24 goals, Rising star award.
2008 - Sydney Wanderers, Player of the year, Golden boot 21 goals.

Bryan was an ASA student and based on the above information was a rising talent with a very promising future. So it's not hard to see why Tony Basha rated Bryan so highly.

Why is it that a player with such ability moves to an Asian side and only scores 3 goals in the season when for the entirety of his career in Australia he is scoring between 16-24 per season in our top NSW state league?

We can only speculate as to why, Probably only Bryan can answer that question. But one thing is for sure Bryan found the going a lot tougher in Asia than in Australia.

all of you could do with a little more facts to help you battle against each other.....
in the interests of decency and fair play can i ask all of you to leave him out of your rants and fights as he reads in here from time to time and i don't think it's cricket for him to be subjected to this kind of mis information and criticism.....given that he was mentioned by basha without any knowledge of the article going to press.
