+xWhat the f’ck was that 😂😂😂 love football but how does Maccers score with TWO headers, Roar concede within a minute of scoring and still come back to 3-All, and then sneak a winner. Sounds like the old brisbane, comeback kings, lets hope it continues, crazy game :)

I said it since the FFA cup game but mcging is the worst footballer in our squad and if today did not show that nothing will. He was absolutely trash and actively made us worse being on. The second half was much better going to the attacking 442 should convince Fowler that the 3 at the back is now done. Mauk being higher and supporting oshae made us look a lot better.
I would think that mcging will not play again unless we are absolutely shot with injury and by the last couple of performances gilesphie will be under pressure. Given how much reardon and Courtney Perkins have played together I would bring them both into the starting line up

+xWill be interesting if we see an unchanged line up. Not expecting it, but hoping Roy sees some time on the bench. He hasn't performed and is being rewarded by keeping his starting spot. Must send the wrong message to the rest of the squad. +xThis game at Redcliffe will be interesting. Not very hopeful for Brisbane even scoring a goal. +xThe last time Roar played MC at Dolphin oval was in an FFA Cup,when Fornaroli scored the winner. MC have averaged 2 goals a game. Brisbane have conceded on average less than 1 goal per game. Brisbane have averaged .25 goals a game.Which means they score every four games. MC have conceded on average 1 goal a game. Brisbane has not played the three top scoring teams.Namely MC,SFC and WU. MC have not played the other two best defensive teams.Namely WSW and SFC. MC is the third best defensive team. Predicted score 0-1 to MC. +xI will get in early. We may as well play youth, because this season is done.

Lots like the storm will hit in hour to half an hour. Doesn't look like much afterwards so definitely will help with the air quality.

It means nothing really, but the boys are due. They have been playing well enough to win games - this time!
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Game will go one or two ways:
Roar finally break the shackles, 3-1 win
Roar continue being profligate in front of goal and city score several and the pressure mounts on RF
Optimistically hoping for option 1

Well I don't see any clouds other than smoke haze. Just pissed I have to fly to Sydney for work so I'm missing the game.
I hope the Roar click but I'm worried that the wheels will fall off today. I personally think that the Roar is playing some really good football, the not scoring part is really hurting us. With the loss of confidence not getting the result will make heads drop.
Oh well at least we have game plans and clear style of play.

+x+x+xLooks like heavy rain tomorrow unfortunately which will hurt what could have been a good crowd :( Yeah, all but sold out. Been unlucky with the rain seeing as we’ve had so little. Seriously? I haven't seen a forecast. Showers, 1-6mm, possible storm. Be a better idea tomorrow - you know what the forecasting is like

+xGood to see Mauratovic score a hatrick and Reardon two. Both players heavily involved with the first team.A 7-0 flogging of MV in any competition is sweet. Can RF take any credit? Last season in the equivalent fixture Roar won 6-0 with Daniel Leck scoring a hat trick. He's now playing NPL. Is Muratovic any better? Can he break into the first team?

“Melbourne City have won four of their last five A-League matches against the Brisbane Roar (L1), this will be the first time they’ve crossed paths at Dolphin Stadium however.
The Brisbane Roar have won four of their last five A-League matches at home to Melbourne City (L1), keeping a clean sheet only twice in that span.
Melbourne City remain undefeated in the current A-League campaign (W4, D1), this is their best record after the first five matches of a season.
Brisbane Roar have been kept goalless in their last three A-League games; the last - and only previous - time they went longer without a goal was a four-game drought in November 2006.
Melbourne City have won possession 38 times in the final third of the field, the most of any team this A-League season.
The Brisbane Roar boast the best success rate (8/14, 57%) at corners into the box of any A-League team this campaign; indeed, no team has had more than their eight successes (joint-most with Newcastle Jets).
Roy O’Donovan (Brisbane Roar) has had three headed shots on target this A-League season, the joint-most (also Scott McDonald) of any player.
Brisbane Roar’s Jay O’Shea (17) and Melbourne City’s Craig Noone (14) have created the most scoring chances of all players in the 2019/20 A-League season”

+xOk so we are all disappointed with how we had hoped Brisbane would go this year especially after Pre season looked promising, and here we are still sitting near the bottom again!!! however im still positive from what I've seen, regardless of the posters telling us how poor Brisbane are. Most games have at least been 50/50 give or take. We've lost games by one goal or drawn. That's better than last year. Had we have scored one more or a goal in the 4 games we'd be sitting on 8 points assuming the opposition tally didn't change. Some of you may think that's dreaming but nevertheless it's a fact. Brisbane will get better, and other teams too, so it remains to be seen down the track who improves the most. It’s a simple equation: start scoring goals without compromising a very solid defence. If they can do that then results like 1-1, 0-1, 0-0, 0-1 become 3-1, 3-1, 2-0, 2–1
