JA: I run the football department, I brought them back.

2nd question asked, regarding youth league to Craig Moore in regards to the youth team and the recent release of a dozen players.
CM: Long story short, no point holding on the players who realistically won't make the first team.

JA: We want to bring those members back - out there in community, playing attractive football, playing young players. Let's hope it doesn't affect.

JA: I will be stupid not to follow Ange's way because it's imprinted as the Roar. However will bring he own style and pattern and play the "Brisbane Roar way"

8th - JA asked about the Brattan situation and how disappointing it was.
JA says he is disappointed but not unexpected. But had to go sign replacement and move on, signed Corona. Also named Adam Sawyer as a future prospect at 16 years old who is training with the squad

Next Fan Forum scheduled for 18th November

Depending how the season goes that could be quite firery. But at least the playing staff are honest. Guys upstairs i don't believe a word they say.

Here's my feedback from the fan forum, Others might add some more:

* Most importantly there is another new signing imminent. The expression used was "he should be on the plane now" naturally JA was challenged where from? and all we got was "it's an international flight"
* Aloisi said the reason behind the mass release of youth players was he didn't feel they would be good enough for the HAL in two years time so they'd rather concentrate on the next layer down
* in terms of the ex players returning - JA said that was his idea and his decision, cited his time in Spain where clubs looked after their ex-players by providing work from coaching to admin jobs. Said it only applies if people were good enough but that was the fight club culture.
* Playing style will remain the same, just the patterns of play would be the varied
* not confrontational like last weeks, fans were supportive, some critical of this'd that hasn't renewed membership.
* Said the back office admin was being run with fewer people than needed all working long hours and there's a limit to what they can achieve - one of the compromises was only full membership packs were available, light versions not on sale yet.
* Players motivation was high, all being paid but talked at length about how difficult the winter had been
*announced the next fan forum would be on the 18th of November

Good feedback Waz, i saw that guy having a go at the Members who have not renewed. Probably the only thing the pissed me off about the night watching from the stream. No one has the right to have a go at fans for not renewing their Memberships period. Some Roar fans for a while now think just because they are members, they are superior than other supporters and like to boast etc ive been a member for so long... etc etc. I know a few that travel 3 hours each way just to see the team, they are not Members does that make them better fans than some others? Each person supports the team in their own way and some need to get off their high horse. Rant over :lol:

On the night, It is really hard not to like Aloisi, he says all the right things and comes across as a great bloke. He just needs to walk the walk now and i think he can do it. The new signing looks great and just thinking about our new midfield makes me excited for the first time this season. Steff also came across well, good bloke, funny and loves a good chat. Moore was good as well, i still have weird feelings about him the way he left the club and after when he was at the Gold Coast but people change so will give him a second chance.

Overall the feel of the night looked calm, laid back and was good to hear Roar fans laughing again.
