+x+xStill nothing confirmed with fowler in the media. I wonder if we will keep all our UK players in long term. At least one of our players said coming here to work under the great Robbie Fowler was important - so very interesting question. All the visa players are contracted for one more year but if RF were to sign with say Birmingham City I’d expect him to be interested in all our visa players, except Holloway.

+xAssuming Fowler doesn't return and Moon does take over as per previous posts...what is Moon like ? We have heard from Waz that he is highly regarded. Anyone had personal experience of his coaching ? Why is he a good choice ? (and yes I have read wikipedia ) My input is based upon what people at Lions FC say about him, plus of course the success he had there.
If there’s a weakness it’s got to be (imo) his lack of international connections so our visa signings may suffer in future.

+x+x+x+x+xRobbie n Grant not coming back. Davis to coach team into finals. Moon + Davis if confirmed Fowler/Grant not coming back. Hopefully it is Moon in charge with Davis picking up the cones Moon was scheduled to takeover after Fowler left, has done a good job at Lions previously so will take the head. Good , will he get the gig full time? My understanding is that was always the plan - Fowler here for a maximum of two seasons (his wife and three daughters never joined him) and then Moon takes over .... so I don’t see why he wouldn’t get it now, but you never know - it is Brisbane 🤪

One thing - with the turmoil at Glory and if players do leave who have been reported as leaving, just maybe we can hold 4th place. Glory first game back is Mariners though so not holding out a lot of hope - still, we have runs on the board...

+x+x+x+xSo what's the go with robbie fowler? its all very quiet isn't it Birmingham City are calling It would be an easy way out using the pandemic as reasons to leave. I will be very disappointed if he goes. If he goes then unless we win the championship without a coach, it’ll be another 2 wasted seasons. New coach will want another clean out of players.... and so the roundabout continues.

+x+xOn the BR website Jai Ingham is still on the playing list. I thought he had moved on? No Jacob Pepper, of course, but all other players there. Whether they turn up to the next training session is the question. Jai came back, his deal fell through.
Apparently already signed somewhere new for next season. Ya silly law that says a player can’t sign for 3 clubs in one season 😂

+xEnjoyed the Thomas brooch video, my only question was why the checkers board marked out as a football pitch. Good to see Ange influence on his former player Clearly, if he had put his counters on a real football pitch he would have lost most of them. Would you prefer he used garbage bins on a pitch instead?

Sorry I missed this post at the time, but just read the article. Big rap for Ange from Thomas and now I’ve got my hopes up for seeing TB coaching Brisbane in future. From his views on Ange, and his own football philosophy, you wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up working together at some point.

This is great PR from the Roar (and interesting that NINE News ran a feature article on their main news last night): https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.9news.com.au/article/b463eda9-b5c4-4f5a-a097-69683f61ba30Roar picking up the kids abandoned by the collapse of the FC Barcelona academy
