Pretty much since the end of last season it was clear that he wasn't going to renew his contract :lol:

I think there was a rumour in here that he was in talks with the Heart. Not sure what's happened to that.

A mate of mine saw him at Melbourne Victory vs Celtic. I've seen photo evidence to prove it.
He was also at the Melbourne derby late last year. (Heart home game at AAMI Park). The same mate has photo evidence.

This friend of mine was sitting in the chairman's function at both games (where he saw him both times), so that may be interesting.

Well he was at the Port Melbourne game also.

So who's Heart playing first game? Newcastle, yeah?

Nick Ward at his best would be a handy acquisition for any A-League club, sadly he hasn't been at his best for quite some time.

since he had what ever he had he lost all confidence in his body. but in saying that he did complain on fb that he wanted to retire as he wasnt enjoying football anymore

No idea where this rumour came from. He hasn't been anywhere near the club. If anything he might return to Victory under Mehmet. No chance of him signing for Heart.
