I've always thought that rural people are who the "stop the boats" campaigns are hugely targetted towards. Just personal experience, but cityfolk seem to care a whole lot less about that topic. Maybe because they're used to being around people from every heritage possible, I have no idea really, but just a general impression.

As far as I know, not that I know much Crackers, it was a done deal with Adani committed. Tenders and bid submissions closed a couple of weeks ago. Not sure why Campbell is getting involved.

As for illegal acquisitions I'm not too sure on that. They're up to something like option 12, revision 1 with regards to the rail route so I'm assuming a fair bit of negotiations have been going on behind the scenes with the stakeholders involved.

As for the co funding, that is curious. Must be some photos of Campbell and a sheep in a cheap hotel somewhere.

Think Newman got the idea from the NZ Prime Minister while he was over for G20.
