Funny watching Turnbull on the 7.30 report try and defend Abbot saying "there'll be no cuts to the ABC" the night before the election and now they're cutting their funding 5%.

Gillard got crucified for saying "there'll be no carbon tax" and somehow Abbot gets away with not 1 but about half a dozen broken promises.

Poor Turnbull. He didn't know what to say.

Saying there will be not cuts to the ABC, which will put money in the back pockets of Australians and less into bloated, oversized , overpaid, biased public broadcaster is a bit of a different lie to swindling Australians of thousands of dollars to help pay the carbon bills of major polluters.
