What about Barnaby and his drought 'envoy' position.  9 months, no report, $675 000 in expenses.  He is a farking spud that bloke.

More accurately a beetroot but you get the point.

Have a look at the electoral map of NSW.  It's an eye opener.  Green is the Nats.

Looking into it though, federal law can still trump it and get you arrested.

I felt so proud seeing ScoMo be honoured by USA President Donald J Trump.

What a great honour for Australia seeing these 2 together as great pals.

Got any better ideas other than pill testing and encouraging drug use by making this dangerous act "safe"?

OK! Well they are trying to ban vaping and then want pill testing.

You couldn't make it up and yet most people just can't see it.

Decriminalization and eventual legalisation/ regulation just like with alcohol and tobacco.

Spend the billions wasted on law enforcement on education encouraging responsible use.

The drug war has failed. Criminal organisations are more powerful that the local governments in some countries. Legalisation would destroy many drug cartels overnight.

There needs to be a world wide effort to shift away from prohibition. It'll won't happen for decades though. Too much opposition from dinosaurs and the black market that will do everything they can to keep it illegal.

No thanks, I have children and I don't want the proliferation of more substances that can screw their minds and kill them.

I can't believe people are advocating for the decriminalization of these substances thus making it easier to engage in drug abuse as there are no consequences.

Just goes to show that the agenda of the left is to destroy the family unit and to weaken society by reducing its sobriety and achieving greater reliance on social services and descend into a state of Socialism.

No one cares about the physical and mental health of our youth.

And then we have the ridiculousness of Government trying to control vaping which is an effective tobacco quitting system.

This argument against prohibition is a lame duck argument as well.

Making something illegal is NEVER going to eradicate the problem. Murder is illegal and yet we have murders. Theft is illegal and yet we have theft. Rape is illegal and yet we have rape. Assaults are illegal and yet we have assaults.

Drugs are illegal and yet we have Drug Abuse.

Therefore legalizing drugs is as silly as legalizing all the other criminal behaviors because these laws have also failed.

I would also find centres which cure addiction as well. Drug addiction needs to be treated as a medical problem not a criminal one.
