Israel lobbied Britain hard via sympathetic politicians at the time to get the partition agreement through, Britain as usual may have had the best of intentions when it came to attempting to amicably split Israel & Palestine but as usual completely fucked up the execution of it like they fucked up everything in the Middle East. ( see Iraq ) .   

Britain didn't really take a serious interest in Saudi Arabia ( i.e their oil ) until the 1950's which was well after the partitioning of Israel was complete.  Israel has mistrusted Britain ever since they cozied up to Middle Eastern oil interests from that point who avowed mission is the complete annihilation of Israel & successive foreign offices have been pro Saudi ever since in a big way.  

Considering the Saudi Arabia wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for Britain it's understandable.

Absolutely great news for Britain electing a majority Government that will now be able to deal with BREXIT and fight from a position of strength.

Which just goes to show it won't really affect Trump's 'legacy'.  It should but it won't.

It really is meaningless as there was no grounds for impeachment and the impeachment itself won't get through Senate.

The only affect is that trump support will be strengthened.

Basically they been trying to impeach trump for years. the initial allegations were quite serious, pertaining to Russia collusion but the Mueller Report said there was no evidence of impeachable collusion so that attempt ended along with several other attempts.

So this impeachment is the bottom of the barrel. Even if Trump were to go to court, the impeachment would be dismissed instantly as it really is clasping at straws now and desperate.

Still he has been impeached he cant escape that fact.  Neither did Clinton and johnson. Both stayed on despite being impeached.  

And what does this actually mean when there is no evidence for even a court to impeach him?

In other words, the impeachment is totally bogus and a manipulation of State organs like Congress which is the real misuse of power here.

The conundrum for the Dems is thus:
 - Do nothing in opposition (aka political irrelevancy) in the hope that Trump will cock it up himself, or
 - Try and find some problem anywhere involving Trump to keep themselves politically relevant and in the media spotlight (aka this impeachment)

The 5D chess of Trump is that any attempt to belittle him will only make him stronger given his television persona and reputation among idiots. He has positioned himself as their champion and avatar despite having no material or financial interest in their lives beyond his own personal and political gain. I have never seen anyone play the real-life role of Palpatine so well. .

His entire performance will be judged on the premise of him actually bettering the lives of Americans in the rust belts of America where he derives his support from. if he has created jobs and reduced unemployment and so on, then he gets a big tick.

he has created jobs in these areas and things are better today than the day he assumed office from the Democrats so that's runs on the board.

But those jobs are one trade deal away from evaporating (again) lol.
