Yeah I think so, I've never done it. It would be cheaper to do it with your players though. I've only ever bought actual coaches.

the leadership of the player equates to what level the coach can be.

inad leadership--->inadequate trainer
solid leadership---> solid trainer

In answer to external recruiting for coaches v using an existing player:
If you have a player with high leadership and experience it is DEFINETLY a good idea to make him a coach.
Otherwise, recruit externally. Capt, only buy a player as a future coach if you plan on using him as a player for a season.

im deciding to sell my 35 yr keeper while he is in good form so i can make about 200k out of him. He's got solid keeping and brilliant experience. Is 200k too high or should i go lower?

so did you see my team? there prety crap but i got a new coach and brought in some young cheap half decent players, two defenders cause our attacking isnt too bad, am i going down the right path in terms of team improvment/weakness? ive read a fair bit of the manuel and pages on here but as they say theres nufin like actually playing the game and learning a thing or two form experiance,

he's got wretched i think. But i wouldnt make him coach. I'll look for another keeper with better leadership abilities and high experience.

Watch out though, if a half decent team comes up you will be going back down next season

i'm already in division V. it took me only 1 and a half season to get up here. *someone took their time. and i came 5th in my first season of division V. i am on a roll! should see division IV in two more seasons if i recruit properly.

Yeah, it took me... 2.5 seasons in a league with 4 humans to get to 5. Went straight back down and then straight back up, and now staying up.

You have mutliple players with 13000 tsi, but are ranked 1085 in division 5.
I have players with much less but am ranked 369 in 5, with hatstats of 180-190. I find that odd.
Do you have like 4 good players and the rest much worse??
Im not trying to brag im just confused

yea the only thing keeping me up are my mids. they are all brilliant! trained them from inadequate up!
my defense is useless. the best defender i have is an excellent. rest are passables except for one solid.
my wings are decent but my attack is very poor. i rely on one striker that is solid to score me goals. but he has excellent set pieces and scored 11 goals this season, mostly from set pieces.
