At your throat? I don't even recall replying to you recently, the last time was the Heart youth policy thing.
Was all meant in good spirit dude, I thought you would see the irony in your post, and have a laugh
The election thread was made with a poll, afaik you cant add a poll into an existing thread, different circumstances.
Sorry for any offence

Good luck with this thread +1 Thought locking that thread was a little harsh. Eastern Glory wrote:Seriously?!? You can't understand why we didn't need that thread?
Grow up. Just accept that things run smoothly around here with this kind of moderation. Was I being a dick about it? No. I don't know why you've been at my throat the last few weeks, but I thought you were better than that, and I'm a little bit sick of it. Fair enough if people thought it should go in here, but it's a similar case to the 'who will win the election thread'. It was an anomaly in sport and Girt was just trying to make conversation about it, the thread would only have lasted a week max,and then it would have disappeared forever. I just thought it had a place, but it's really not an issue. No - a thread titled 'Wimbeldon 2013' is not an anomaly in sport. The post about the players being knocked out, however, is. Posts belong in threads - there is no need for a thread for tennis and a thread for wimbeldon. If he wants to highlight his issue maybe he should post it in the appropriate thread. It's basic organisation.

Sorry for any offence    all good brother, ever since that youth policy all your replies have been bitter as fuck haha, wasn't sure if I had offended you or something  It's not an issue, I just thought Girt's thread wasn't doing any harm and that the events of the 2nd round were worth discussing, but I see where you are coming from.

That was a win to be proud of for Tomic, getting up over Gasquet. See if he can repeat against Byrdich.

Telling the girl it's her own fault for letting herself get in that position? Hell naw. She's an asshole.

With regards to the calling for more lenient punishment, I agree, she was wrong.
However, I think she had the right intention when she discussed how it was the girls fault. It just came out very wrong. It's all about risk minimization; this girl could have done it a whole lot better and prevented herself from getting in this position.
It's like walking down a ghetto street (imagine you're in LA lol) with a $100 bill hanging out your pocket. Someone comes and steals it from you. Is it your fault? No. But you could have managed the situation better by concealing your $100, thus preventing a crime occurring.
The example I gave was not really similar to the rape case, but the same principle applies to both.

So you're comparing a woman to a $100 note. Charming.
Is there some quote from a muslim cleric you wanted to throw in there where he states women are like "meat on display" and deserve what they get?

Props to Del Potro for getting through after hyper-extending his knee in the first set.
