I just received an email from the state under 14s coach asking if I wanted to be the sports trainer for the state under 14 team at the national titles?

I was amazed!

I've had no experience apart from self-treating a torn calf muscle two days after the completion of the course.

I only completed a Level 1 Sports Trainer's course in early July. At the end of it I thought I was barely competent and was concerned about declaring publicly that I was qualified.

I'd be far more confident doing the coach's or assistant coach's job for the under 14s!

I cannot believe being offered a job with a lot of responsibility I feel I'm totally inadequate for.:-k
