+xBit worrying for Maclaren now, a lad who has been at the club 5 days has started over him twice. He scored but I felt he can't be so good if he's going from Switzerland to Scotland. That kind of deal where a loan player really grows. That's what we want with Maclaren. He must be terrible in training. I'm not saying he's Aguero but to see him get a few 90s will allow everyone to make up their mind.

That kind of deal where a loan player really grows. That's what we want with Maclaren. He must be terrible in training. I'm not saying he's Aguero but to see him get a few 90s will allow everyone to make up their mind. Even if he can actually get some minutes off the bench would be nice, a good 20-30 minute run to make an impact.

+xi remember when guus subbed harry kewell on at 30 mins for australia he was benched to motivate him The strategy can work. You start a bloke for 35mins and tell him to go all out. Sub a good player on for 10 intensive minutes then they get a break and have enough for the full 2nd. Kewell might be thankful for Popovic getting a yellow and elbowing a Uruguayan defender in the face.
