+x+xSmith and Federici desperately need to leave Bournemouth. Their careers are slowly dying. Without opening a massive Smith debate, he can and should make it at championship level. Really, he's not that bad, is he? He'd do quite well in Bundesliga 2 I think. I wonder who is keeping tabs on him. Bad deal for Bournemouth in the end. Yes he is that bad, he has the technical ability of a semi pro player. He is lucky he is fast.

+x+xI see the keeper for Hibernian got a red card and they subbed off Jmac, poor lad. Sucks but strikers are often sacrificed Cut from the Socceroos and dragged after 16 minutes, poor bloke can't catch a break.

Bad deal for Bournemouth in the end. opened. he has to move. he is 24 in a couple weeks and has had no substantial football ever. he's missed so much of his important development years it would not be surprising if his football falls flat completely now and he ends up in the dregs somewhere. he has made only 17 professional club appearances in 5 years of playing. 19 appearances for australia. clearly he is getting shit advice or prefers sitting on the bench for a better income than actually playing. i don't think he is the brightest crayon in the box.

Definitely think Smith can cut it at Championship level though if someone like James Meredith can.
He just needs to swallow his pride and move down a league to get those valuable minutes.

Kruse and Borrello starting.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

First and foremost Smith needs a transfer. His pace and crossing is good and he's got decent strength for a little guy. His positioning was unfortunately atrocious in many games. It's frustrating how some players manage to appear so out of it and it's so obvious that they cop even more flak.
I'm glad Behich, Meredith and Gersbach are there.

ffs great work from Borrello, should've had an assist. Actually no, he was the one who failed to score but was put off by his teammate.

+xffs great work from Borrello, should've had an assist. Really sucks to have Kruse and Ruka as our other wing options. Maybe Berti will rely less on wingers?

Kruse assist for 3:2 after 2:0 down. Hinterseer with a triple. Good run by Kruse with the assist being more a poor shot.

Leckie bench today against lowly Hamburg. Borello came off a bit earlier than normal and his sub scored. 1:1 now with 10 men. Kaiserslautern must stay in the 2nd division.

Bochum with a massive win. Kaiserslautern fight for a point and almost won. They need to keep fighting. Classy goal by Luongo https://youtu.be/FOyA7fyk7gs

Luongo looks good. Good tackles and so much so that players are making errors when he is close due to potential pressure.
Weitd game though. QPR look dominating then Flham look dangerous on the counter.

Mladá Boleslav currently playing.
Eli Bablj has fallen off the side of the Earth. Šušnjar out suspended from yellow cards Mebrahtu out suspended for a red card from last cup game.
I think Mebrahtu might be on shaky ground at the club.

+xGerbasch started. Mooy Gersback could / should have had an assist just before half time. Good cross into the six yard box was skied over by the striker arriving late. I get the feeling from watching the first half that his team mates don't yet trust him. Overlooked for a number of simple passes in lieu of a speculative cross field punt. Unfortunate, as he hasn't done much wrong when he does get the ball.

Difference between Hudders and Brighton. Both have 8 wins. But Hudders have 7 draws, Brighton 10 draws for an extra 3 points. Maty Ryan... ? Just having a quality GK might just give them (plenty) clearance from the bottom. Not bad for a newly promoted team :)

Usually does, like you've mentioned. Yeah, the 'don't pass when he's open' scenario we've seen so many times with Aussies. Didn't see a hint of this with Borello however, was unusual.
