+x+xWhen mooy is selfish he can be a real difference maker Yeah I wish (at times) he would take that extra touch and shoot, or go for the killer ball. He's clearly capable. The issue is he is the glue of Huddersfield's midfield, so doing the more risky stuff if it doesn't pay off won't be helpful.

+xI've just been told that Nick Ansell hasn't been in the Tondela squad because he twisted his left knee and is out for the remainder of the season. Sad to hear that, at least we have some explanation now.

First win for Ange, 1-0 away to Urawa. 90 minutes for Degenek. 90 minutes for Chapman 82 minutes for Duke, Halloran subbed on late Langerak starting at home to Kawasaki Frontale. Kickoff 9 aedt.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xHrustic starting away to AZ Hrustic playing decently. Seems to be pretty prominent in Groningen's attacks and looks very confident on the ball.

+x+x+xHopefully if they go down mooy lands a good deal somewhere If I had to choose between Brighton and Huddersfield I'd rather the latter. Mooy would surely command interest from a few other PL sides, whilst I could see Ryan going down with Brighton to the championship. mooy was hardly involved in the game. when he was involved up front he was decent. it wasnt like he was marked out either. he consistently drops back into dead space to pick up the ball when other players are trying to move it forward. i can't see hudders staying up if they play like they have the last 2 weeks. absolutely limp in the front half. they seem more content on getting a throw in in the front third than actually working a shot on goal. again they persist with pointless crosses into the box. if they are going to play like that they really need to start depoitre and mounie together and play a 4411/442. they have almost no presence in the box as it is. so their plan is a complete failure. they need to play mooy as the #10. pritchard is good but he just gets bullied all over the park and can't hold the midfield. i'd play him on the right since no one else is doing anything valuable there. the fullbacks overlap so he can cut in anyway. I'd argue Vagner has seen enough of Pritchard. I don't think he is pleased with him barking commands all over the pitch and causing disharmony to the group. He's clearly not good enough to be shouting at the other players about their jobs. Wait until next week, I think his head is getting a bit too big and Wagner will leave him out of the starting XI. Mooy didn't take a free kick or corner until the second half by the looks and I did watch the entire game, so that was unusual. Pritchard took one spot kick over Mooy, Mooy just let him insist, and the ball was absolute rubbish into the box. (overshot the line by a mile/wasted opportunity.)

Dougall starting against Ajax, Goodwin on the bench Davidson is playing LW, got an assist apparently. I have no idea what the standard of football is like.

Didn't watch last nights game, but saw the 0-0 against 10 man Swansea last week. Mooy and Pritchard seemed the only players going Hudders any attacking fluency and speed. Whenever either two were in a good position they were too often ignored in favour of going out wide for the cross. Obviously Swansea sat back and defended expertly which made it hard to break them down. I'm not sure if Mooy is selfish enough to be a #10. He's like the opposite of James Troisi, which in many ways is a good thing. I'd love to see what Mooy could achieve in a side with more quality. They are much much better with Kachunga, purely because they get forward quicker. Kachunga, Van La Parra, Nahki Wells was pretty crazy fast when he was with Hudders but no more. Not sure Mounie was a good signing in this system. He been irrelevant the last couple games. Teams have gone complete bus against Hudders now. Notice how when Hudders play more difficult teams who play possession and all that, they do quite well. They've been shat on quite easily by lower teams.

Huddersfield have been hard to gauge lately. Wagner is being linked to Dortmund. I'd probably prefer any link of Mooy following Wagner to be quashed as Dortmund have plenty of good midfielders.

dominant performance by rogic in a disappointing 0-0 draw
forced some tough saves and created very good chances
seems to be improving in defence, mobility and vision. He seems more reluctant to take players on mind you
