The curious case of Eli Babalj.

He's come off the bench twice this season for Mladá Boleslav, alongside fellow Aussies Mebrahtu and Susnjar, for a total of 23 minutes way back at the start of the season in August last year. He doesn't appear to have mad a matchday squad since.

Elder starting

Wigan winning comfortably. 3rd but only just. Would be good to see Elder stay permanently and go up to the Championship.

Played a full game against Bayern when they held them to 0-0 a couple weeks back I think. wouldnt say they parked the bus but were definitely on the back foot.

The impression I get is maybe he gets used more when they are playing the better teams and defending more. Could be wrong of course.
