+xAnge had another 3-1 win in the cup. That's 3 in a row including two league wins. They have a derby against Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday at home. As much as Ange did my head in the last 12 months he coached the Socceroos, I still want him to succeed in Japan. Could really be a turning point for Aus coaches in Asia. With Ange doing well in Japan and HK continuing to impress in England, we could well see more Aus coaches earning overseas moves. Can only be good for our game. After GA's disastrous Japan venture and Popovic's ill-fated Turkish stint, we need some Aus coaches succeeding overseas,

+xLet’s be fair, Folami has more minutes of professional football under his belt than Ikonimidis did when he was selected for his debut. He might pass Brad Smith next weekend too. Thats more a case for Anges weird selections rather than for a dude with 45 minutes of pro football to get a call up.

Thank God Simon Hill had some sense through all of it though.

Seriously though, sometimes I think we've selected better squads in these threads than previous Roos coaches (*cough* Holger)

Nick Ansell is back in Melbourne recovering from a ankle injury. He was just on the dfs.

Kruse starting away to league leaders Dusseldorf. Still drawing plenty of fouls Pasquali starting for Jong Ajax. Second starting appearance.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Bochum currently 6th. Bundesliga 2 so tight. Hopefully they hold on. Surely they won't go up? It'd be a miracle

Been so pumped for this weekend!!
Last weekend has to be the best Aussies Abroad weekend in the last 5 years. Looks like this weekend is off to a flyer as well.

So much of Kruse in that goal. Great run in behind... the defender tried to foul him but couldnt in the end (risked a red)... then Kruse shot where he always does, straight at the keeper... this time going through his legs. His angled runs in behind really are good
