He can hold his own at World Cup level against the likes of WC winners France, but isn't supposedly good enough to start in the Scottish league for a team outside the Old Firm!

+xWhy give Arzani a chance when you can throw on some scot plonkers. Obviously taking on EPL level defenders at the World Cup is less than the SPL superstars...Maybe if his name was Arzaninho he’d be ushered straight in. *rolls eyes*Maybe we should drop Rogic for one of our other attacking midfielders while we are at it. He also struggled to make an impact against those very same "SPL superstars".

Mooy should be scoring a lot more than he is. He's becoming a bit of a disappointment. Should be having more of an impact on games.
Apparently Ryan has had an indifferent start to the season as well. He's in the bottom 5 in the league for save percentage.

He's in the bottom 5 in the league for save percentage. you could say that for the whole hudders team. mooy has not been given a very attacking role for the most part. you can't really put that on him. in terms of impact, he does what his role demands, exceptionally. you might note the number of motm that mooy has picked up.

Mooy isn't in an advanced position for Huddersfield, he dictates the tempo from deep and is reguarly one of their better players. Too bad the rest of the team is absolute utter shite. As for Ryan the couple games i watched he was really good and has made a number of incredible saves.

+x*rolls eyes*Maybe we should drop Rogic for one of our other attacking midfielders while we are at it. He also struggled to make an impact against those very same "SPL superstars". As you would know Rogic is playing injured...if he needs injections to play as has been said, one has to ask why the hell he is playing in the first place? Which then in turn doesn't give me much faith in Celtic's fitness department. In all honesty, he should be dropped/rested.

Whilst I hate the Rogic v Arzani comparison, being 2 very different players, Arzani would be infinitely more effective out there.

He shouldn't be playing (if he is carrying an injury that needs a jab to play) for two reasons. (1) Should be rested before he does any more/serious damage. (2) He hasn't been playing all that well so far this season. As for how bad his injury is... I don't know, nor do I know what the medical department have in place with regards to his treatment. I hope/believe they won't be playing/risking him unnecessarily.

He does drift out wide sometimes (moreso recently), but he is still being used as a number ten. His (and McGregor) drifting out wide moreso then before/normal is partially down to us playing three at the back.

Mate Hibs lost their last game. Their Central defensive unit is not great. I witnessed DMs hitting the ball backwards in the path of the other teams forwards at stages in the last game and they got walloped I wouldn't be surprised if Millsy gets the nod to start soon.

Clubs want to win. If our guys are young like Arzani don't expect them sto start, however, it could be correct to assume that if they older like Milligan, Behich, Sains, then they're there for their experience and to stabilise the club from a winning standpoint.

As for Maclaren, I'm not sure on the history of similar strikers ? Could be a week to week thing based on form? If he's getting on the end of them, fine start him. If not, probably of the bench. He is prolific when in form. Sometimes the bench can be a motivator though. So just wouldn't expect him to start every, single, game.

+xAnyone else feel Irvine could be a striker? Not really, he is best as a 10 making those runs in the box and chipping in with some goals. But on the whole he is too limited to be a striker, his hold up play is average, he isn't a great finisher, doesn't have the poachers instinct and his ball control is quite poor. He works far better in space and strikers need to be good in tight spaces.

Goal number 2 for Irvine on the half volley looked a striker's goal but he's nothing like a typical striker. He can finish and has the poaching mindset. He'd be better than Garcia up front for sure :D

Huddersfield are going down at this rate unless they turn it around themselves and invest well in winter. Not sure if they have the cash. I think clubs might come knocking for Mooy in winter. £10m minimum. Hell, even £20m is a steal when you see the fees these days.

They are gone, the teams around them this season are much improved compared to the dross which got relegated last season.

Huddersfield have been found out this season. 100% going down. When Burnley are out of Europe they'll make a late run and avoid relegation. Newcastle usually find a way to stay up, but then again sometimes don't. West Ham looks like it's falling apart so I'd pencil them in for the drop.
