Don't change your argument... He said "only player youth football"
You lost this one, and got collectively laughed at. Cop it on the chin and move on.

Taggart, Smith, Davidson, do I need to keep going? Taggart was playing against men in the A-league. Smith had already made his debut for Liverpool and was playing for Swindon Town before his socceroos debut. Davidson was playing for Paços de Ferreira, Sporting Covilhã & Heracles Almelo before his Socceroos debut.( No you don't need to keep on going unless you want to continue to embarrass yourself. Were we talking specifically debuts? These guys are first choice socceroos aren't they? Smith - He's played about 15 minutes LAST SEASON for Liverpool wearing the number 57 or something, not a chance in hell of making even the squad atm. He played about 3 games for Swindon then was recalled because he was whinging about playing in League One. Currently playing u21 level football. Taggart - Last season? He will get a call up in a weeks time at which point he will be playing at u21 level... Davidson - Guy hasn't even made the first team squad in months, currently playing u21 grade football.... Do I need to keep going? Did I ever say to even give that Ikon kid a run? NO cause its a fkn stupid idea, Babalj was killing it at youth level in Dutch league couldn't get a run at all. There is a big difference between youth and senior football. He might be a good youth player but senior football is a different beast altogether.
So now he needs to make it to the seniors, that will be his true test.

He is basically the Cristiano Ronaldo of that league 13 goals in 20 games in all comps, and an electric buttload of assists. He's especially provided great service to their regular number 9, Palombi, from what I've seen.

By the time Ange saw fit to give Brad Smith his Socceroos debut against lowly Belgium on the 4th of September 2014, he had only played four senior games for Swindon in the lofty English third division (against powerhouses Scunthorpe, Gillingham, Crewe Alexandra and Coventry City) as well as his 30 minute cameo for Liverpool the season before. Not to mention the fact that only one or two of those four games for Swindon would have been played before Ange finalised his squad for those friendlies. The majority of Ange's decision to cap him would have come from watching his Liverpool U21 games, surely.
I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with this AT ALL, this is why I love Ange, and I think it's also fair to say that someone playing (against grown men) in the reserves of one of the biggest teams in South America could get a loan in League One as well, as could someone who is clearly the standout in the U20's for a very big Italian team, who several Serie B clubs have wanted on loan.

So itd be very interesting to hear the thoughts of the Lazio fans on this topic. Didn't harry kewell get called up before he made his epl debut ? No, he made his EPL debut in March and got the call a month later for a friendly against Chile. I know there was an instance where a number of Euro-based youth players were called into camp as part of a "train-on" squad to join the senior boys, I think Luongo was one of them back during the Holger period. However as a member of the official senior squad, I don't condone it. Playing youth football and playing senior football are two completely different things.
