Lazio up 3-1 with an extra man at around the 60 minute mark. This is the sort of time to give a youngster a go...

Rashid Mahazi is another River Plate youth product. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Assuming the bench for cup games is as big as the league, Ikonomidis is on it. Game starting at 07:00.

Hopefully Amini moves on at seasons end, to a club that'll value him. Once he gets some first team football in him at a good level I'd imagine a 'Roos callup won't be to far away.

Joshua Brillante can go to Catania . As collected by Violanews.com at this time the name of the midfielder would be in the notebook club Etna. And the Spice ? There was some contact but not proposed officers. A Violanews.com the sports director of the company Ligurian Guido Angelozzi has denied it all: "Brilliant - he said - has a profile important, is one of those interesting players. At the moment, we do not seek a midfielder, we have other priorities. " In fact the companies have spoken, Fiorentina hinted to be available to let leave the Australian, with the aim to make it do experience. Will be decisive also the will of member today is the Catania to be favored. http://www.violanews.com/esclusive/ds-spezia-a-vn-brillante-giocatore-interessante-ma-20150113/

He's actually had number 70 for the senior team since the start of the season as far as I can see, but this is the first time he's been named in the first team match day squad.

I remember watching him destroy a team from NZ whilst playing under 15s for Sutherland in a Manchester Cup game.

Fantastic to see him progress at Lazio. =d>

Copa Italia.... so a lot bigger than the league cup... same as the FA cup, and a game between 2 serie-A teams.... so it is not a mickey mouse game..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coppa_Italia

Cool, thanks for clarifying.

It is a Round of 16 clash, winner to play Milan in the QF.

Hopefully he gets a run, but given the importance of the match, he may be tagging along for match day preparation experience rather than getting out on the pitch.
