Was having a read of the Swindon town forums yesterday. They've pretty much conceeded to the fact that Luongo will leave, it's just a matter of how much of a transfer fee they will get. With Kasim scoring and playing well last night, they could lose two of their best players.

Swindon might fare poorly in the next few weeks in League One, but at least they're winning the Asian Cup!

Yeah the guy who scored the winning ffor Iraq, Yaser Kasim, is a Swindon starter.

Seeing a bunch of reports on Twitter Mabil will be back training with Adelaide Friday

Exhibiton win for Ajax

January 10, 2015
Ajax is the year 2015 started with a win. At local amateur RKAV Volendam won the team of trainers Jaap Stam / Andries Ulderink an exhibition game 2-3.

For fifteen minutes had elapsed Ajax looked at a 1-0 deficit, but Lerin Duarte tied the score in the 38th minute. Promises Ajax took almost an hour after playing the lead through a goal from Henry, but three minutes later the Volendam had drawn the state law. Yet it was Ajax that drew the longest straw. In the last minute of regular time Damil Dankerlui scored the winning goal so that Ajax with a victory ushered in the new year.

Starting grid Ajax: Mous; Vissie, Mirani, Van Bruggen, Van Koesveld; Bakker, Duarte, Warmerdam; Acolatse, Hendriks, Mabil

Not getting enough game time. Ryan is killing it. If Langerak was no. 1 he would be no. 1 for Australia too.

I just want to see Langerak stretch his wings for a whole season. It's incredibly frustrating as he is viewed not good enough as a BVB permanent but too good to be loaned. I want to see him having 20 shots at him a game to keep him on his toes.

I hope we continue to have a positive tournament and our players are given the opportunity and have the right guidance in choosing their club. You can't have everything but game time is something you must get. I'm very pleased with Behich's development abroad.

Saw Leyton Orient on the ticker and he started, but I think Lowry is basically forgotten these days?

Can't find much either :( Just general articles. 1 Game isn't much to miss but may give Wiendenfella a sniff.

Just to put it into perspective why they sat him out 1. they're second (or third) bottom. 2. Conceded the most counter attack goals in the League.

I think 3. Langerak has played in more UCL games and they're top of the group. Valid for keeping him at the number 1 spot maybe.

Australia replacement! Now, the BVB Bank threatens Langerak

Five games in a row he stood in the BVB gate, now Mitch Langerak again sitting on the bench - and in the Australian national team. For its ambitions in Dortmund a major setback. And now praises coach Klopp rivals.

won 4:1 host Australia at the start of the Asian Cup against Kuwait, but a player seemed not really happy to be here: Mitch Langerak. The Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper was only on the bench, the gate was the 22-year old Matthew Ryan of the FC Bruges. This is doubly bad for Langerak: first of all, he had other expectations on his role in the Australian national team, and secondly he fears also for his recently-won place at Borussia Dortmund.
"You can be a winner if you don't play"

Through the tournament the 26-year-old missed namely the entire preparation for the Bundesliga, as well as at least the Rückrunden opener against Bayer Leverkusen. His hope to prove this point by strong performances with the national team, was destroyed with the first game. "It's not easy for me. But I can't change it. I would now like to two places at once and I'm with the heart. But there was no alternative than to play for my country. And this is of course a great honour"Langerak said after the opening game.
With Borussia Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp he is in constant contact: "but what he thinks or how he decides I don't know of course. I can't wait it to be back in Dortmund and to train." Langerak, the last five games in a row in the gate was still bitter: Klopp Roman Weidenfeller praised almost already ebullient at the training camp in La Manga: "he has in the three weeks superbly acted. Sometimes, you can be a winner when not playing. This was the case with novel." Want to let arise no unnecessary discussion Klopp soon on a goalkeeper set.
For Langerak only remains to hope that he is during the Asian Cup maybe still used - or exactly this Klopp saying applies at the end of it. It would be six games including final. Langerak white as number to deal two - so the 26-year-old is combative: "I can now just in the training to work hard. We have a long tournament in front of us, in which much can happen I hope".
