Positive tweets. Doesn't appear so serious but scans will reveal damage.

Milligan did well at CB. Better used in midfield though.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvzbVzV49RQ

Both the passes from Sains early way too slow , doesn't really get the wingback in the mood going forward.
Both Behich & Sains playing ok up unilt 28'
First Waalwiljk goal, the entire team completely unprepared for the ball in the box. Sains no where near the front of goal, out far left side. (don't know what the deal is with man marking)

42' Behich provdies ball over top to striker, that nearly turns into a goal off a great diagonal ball to the winger. near miss on far post (claim of handball but not)
43' Sains earns a corner kick after a corner kicking it off defender marking him. (from which this nearly gets a goal)
57' CB gets blown away by striker (not Sains or Behich) near goal, GK does well
First sub 62' BEHICH & SAINS NOT SUBBED 1-1 still.
75' 2-1 PSV up
78' VB going nuts at referees
87' PSVs forwards just running around in circles in front of the box not defending just strolling / chasing the ball. Near miss by Waalqwijk
At this stage the goal square is wide open as fuck
90' number 38 & 16 for PSV let Waalqijk player head the ball over the top of the back four (sains to be more precise), Other CB barely bothers cover the man coming through on the right side, gets his foot onto it GOAL 2-2
107' Behich gets back well. Ball is switched to the left side, RB lets his man just put the ball along the front of goal. goes in front of both CBs to Behichs man, who bobbles it into the net as Behich looks quite shocked. (no Sains on at this time) 2-3 Waalqwijk
Luzano try's to rescue a point but to no avail. Game OVER

DONT GET THE HATE FOR BEHICH, NOR SAINS. wtf Clearly the PSV players were absolutely rubbish

Thanks for this write up. I appreciated knowing

Awer mabil making a sites team of the month. Maty Ryan also getting in a few:

Attack: Awer Mabil, FC Midtjylland
Success story continues to add new chapters. Awer Mabil has had a wonderful month, which included debut and scoring for the Australian national team. In the Super League he did not leave the pitch in October without either having assisted or scored

Absolute shame..... Still hoping its just an acl sprain or tear. Best case is scans show the acl in tact and a pcl or mcl injury.

It just sucks if it is acl. Not many players go on to big and better things when they suffer an acl injury before they hit 20.

think it's time to go back to NRL.. every time I get excited about a young player they turn out injury prone or never the same.

Arzani
Herd
Rhys Williams
corey gameiro

im sure there's plenty more.. there needs to be a serious look at the FFA physios or someone needs to start asking questions..

when the goal comes in at 2-2 isnt Sains suppose to be going after his man? instead the RB tries to win the header and sains just half assing it in the box while the ball sails over his head and lands at the feet of their striker to score? there's a reason most of their top players were up in the stand for that game.. its going to be a tough road for the aussie boys there.

I'm not too knowledgeable about this sort of thing, but is it possible they've worked him too hard to change his physique and put him at risk of this kind of injury?

I think if he was bulking up he wouldn't be used to his new body. Its a dangerous time

My money is a medial tear, it didn't look like an acl

Even if its mid-tear its the end. Most athletes need the full blown hamstring fix.

It would always be hanging by a thread if not. Just delaying the inevitble.

Spot on. Working the prick too hard. Better than 90% of the players in the league but now you've fucked him well and good.

To a bunch of mediocre academy players mind you. Who probably kill players careers for breakfast.

yeah I recall poor defending from 2 players for the header over top which Sains misread. then the other CB pretty much did half hearted defending against the player who scored.

Was jsut rubbish defending in front at that point

No. A typical injury in that scenario is a soft tissue injury.
