He started Panathinaikos’ last game - a 4-0 win and played 66’ before being subbed. It now means he’s played 3 times for them. Sadly it seems as if the end of the season has come right at the wrong time for him.

Panos also played in a friendly the other day against I think Panionios from the Greek Super League and he scored his first goal for the club. I agree that the end of the season seems to have come at the wrong time for him. He started becoming a more regular first team player right at the end. At least he’s a known quantity now though, so hopefully he can break into the team right from the start of next season.

George did a few good things in that first half. few loose passes as to be expected. And basically scored an own goal, but the opposing player (Mario Gomez) who contested the ball was offside.

Yeah it's tricky. Schalke have been terrible and he was playing 5th tier reserve football. Today's league match had the same intensity as a pre season friendly. Nevertheless there could be a real burst of form and confidence to see him grow. Time will tell.
