Was a bit patchy to begin but fair enough he had no pre season with his squad mates. Good news Bulthius is gone I think from memory Dorda who was Davidsons old rival at herecles is the only other LB. Could be a break out season for him. Will benefit from having Oar in front you would think.

I would rather he give up on the left back experiment and just stick to the left wing even if it means coming back to the a-league full time for a couple of seasons. I'm still not sold on Tommy Oar (and never have been) and would like to have a few other options in that position like Zullo and Ruka.

Massive talk about Australia in Germany right now. The media really admires the way they play and many people on German forums enquiring about Cahill and wondering why Leckie went to Ingolstadt. A few mentions of Spira due to his Nurnberg time and Davidson has made people curious. Ryan generally being supported as a young keeper but the Germans are quite sure Langerak is the better man currently and Ryan a great prospect. Bresc playing in Qatar has also bewildered a few and Halloran is being tipped to rip Buli2. I'm really happy about the recognition.

Not surprised as the players you list above have been our best, spira and Davidson are free agents after the wc I'm pretty sure.. Leckie defiantly signed a deal too early

Think Spira recently signed an extension with WSW? I would love to see him go back to Europe, the time is right for him now. He will be the leader of our defence into Russia 2018 with Good, Sainsbury, McGowan, Willams fighting for the other CB spot. I don't think we will be as shaky there as we have been in the coming years.

I would like to see him move and earn a bit of coin for the club though.

Amini back training Quote:mustafaamini 6 days ago First time touching a ball in 6months Footbonaut #football #bvb #germany #dortmund #footbonaut #machine #fun #goawayinjury http://instagram.com/p/pWU_qYQASR/BvB II also started pre-season with general lactate tests. There are a set of photo's but Amini is not shown. Good news, massive season for him. Needs to break into the first team at least for some cup games or move IMO. Is this the last season on his contract?

Cahill back playing for New York Red Bulls against Toronto FC last night, coming up as a sub in the last 25 minutes and got an assist. Game finished 2-2.

Celtic have flown to Austria for a pre-season camp. Posted photos of them leaving on twitter (https://twitter.com/celticfc). I can't spot Rogic or Irvine. Rogic makes sense with his injury but I would have thought Irvine would have been included in the first team squad. I also couldn't see him in a training video the other day. Now this might just be me not being able to point him out or him not being on camera but has anyone heard anything on him either being injured or sold?

Now this might just be me not being able to point him out or him not being on camera but has anyone heard anything on him either being injured or sold? Well he is back in Glasgow a week and half ago or something. I couldn't see Rogic or Irvine either, Irvine is maybe harder to spot than Rogic, especially is he's changed his hair or beard or whatever. Don't think theres any news of a transfer for him, you'd expect Cetic to at least have a look at him in preseason and then loan him again if they don't think he's quite up to it yet. He is a pretty versatile player though, and only young, so either isn't a bad outcome. I don't think he will leave Scotland if a club wants to loan him though, he's made it clear in the past that he thinks its better to stay closer to Celtic. The only way i could see him ending up here or elsewhere is if he is sold. Edited by The Frenchman: 30/6/2014 10:21:28 AM

Yeah that is what I was thinking also. Even looking through photo's of Irvine in Google it could be pretty easy for him to be there and I just can't recognize him. Ajdin HrusticNot really news but he is not one of 5 Schalke U19's who are beginning pre-season with the first team. Only turning 17 in a week (possibly 18 with transfermakt and ozfootball having different birth years, transfermarkt has the wrong month so I am going with ozfootball for the year also) so it would have been a pretty big surprise if he was promoted. Two of the players training with the seniors play attacking mid though so hopefully he can play a full season for the U19s (only got 3 games last year) and play in the Youth Champions league. SainsburyMissed their first pre-season game. a 13-0 win over Olympia'28 a third tier amateur side. He is back training though (unless I am mistaken) which started on the 23rd. that's fine fella's. it seems like Davidson is staying at Heracles at least in the short term or someone will need to pay for him. it seems he has an auto-renewal clause which was net and since he hasn't signed for someone else before pre-season he will be back at Heracles. It is a one year extenson. Quote: Jason Davidson still under contract with Heracles
Heracles Almelo may still get some money for Jason Davidson.
The Australian defender seemed transfer free to leave at Heracles Almelo because his contract expires this summer. Both Heracles and Davidson, however, the contract is not terminated, so his contract is extended. Automatically by one year "We have been in January when Jason and his agent indicated gladly wanting two years with him," explains director Nico-Jan Hoogma from on the club Heracles. "He wanted to wait until the World Cup with Australia, but because we wanted to keep him, we have not been terminated. Fact that he has not done so he is under the same conditions a year. Example, the rules of the collective agreement for professional footballers. Of course we are in contact with Jason and his agent to bepreken. "it further
Davidson had just put his sights on a transfer to a German or English club, now in the spotlight at the World Cup he played. Itself Such transfer may still come, but there must be a transfer fee to be paid to Heracles.
(sorry no link on phone and I am mainly concentrating on the WC)

Can't complain, hardly the worst place to be at this stage of his career, assuming that Heracles are still keen to play him every week.

Went over to the Fulham forums to see any updates on our players and saw this Quote:Magath Living up to his name
Ryan Tunnicliffe tweeted yesterday '' Back from training! Struggling to get out the car with this pre season! Settle down and watch the boxing ''
Someone has tweeted today as-well '' Fulham Squad spotted arriving at richmond park for pre-season training. Get the feeling felix magath doesn't care about the torrential rain '' So at least our guys will be fit. (sorry no link on phone and I am mainly concentrating on the WC) Eredvise is way under rated. Much better to wait it out in that league until he can get a guarantee from Bundesliga, EPL, Ligue 1 e.t.c
