He has been playing on the left. He hasn't been involved that much but I haven't been paying close attention because the game has been a bit dull and my stream quality is sub-par.

Would love to see more from the East come up. Unfortunately it has to take the 'RasenBall' investment and subsequent re-branding, but atleast Leipzig there. Shame to see Dresden drop. :/ Union Berlin still about, pleasing to see Hertha's rival still there. So too the Aue team. I guess the East not doing too bad actually, represented fairly well, compared to earlier times? Other than Dresden, the only other one that may be missed is Hansa Rostock - shame they have yet to return to Bundi II too, since their relegation a few seasons ago now. The former club of the Kroos brothers and others ofcourse.

So glad Hertha are back up and still keeping up in the Bundesliga where they belong! :cool:

A couple of tidbits of awesome news there! Ryan's loan move to Oxford last season, where he starred, did him a world of good it seems!

This both needs to be a big season for our upcoming young Aussies and indeed could well be so! Give Ange plenty of options for the upcoming Asian Cup!

And Tom Rogic, Sainsbury, Rhys Williams, Curtis Good and co - back with a vengeance after missing out on the WC - here we are hoping!

True, Eigler, Jessen, Cohen and Hajnal are experienced. The fans seem pretty happy with their line up today. They are aiming for promotion but will have to work really hard for it.

There's a former Hertha player in there, Alfredo Morales. Marvin Matip an interesting one too, older brother of Schalke and Cameroon star Joel Matip. Marvin has also played for Cameroon, though only the once.

Reading up - one of the absentees is another former Hertha player, Andre Mijatovic.

Tamas Hajnal missing too - Will be a good opportunity for Leckie to be inter-playing with that creative Hungarian Veteran!

After the promise he showed at the World Cup, really growing into his role with Australia, let's hope Leckie can continue to impress at Bundi 2 level this season and a transfer upwards is forthcoming not too long after, while he still has the legs and his prime ahead of him!

We're certainly on the same wavelength with German football. Great to see someone who knows a lot of these 'unknowns' from both tiers of German football. Morales had a good game and leaving Hertha was the right thing for him to get more game time. Klinsmann will definitely be watching.

In regards to your earlier post, there are a couple of GDR clubs up there but Cottbus went down and Dynamo too. I'd really like to see Lok Leipzig come up a bit more. The 3Liga is best for East Germany clubs. I think the standard is getting better. Halle have a nice, small stadium which would serve some A-League clubs well, as do Magdeburg and both have a nice are for standing. Then there are Chemnitz and Erfurt. I can't stand Sandhausen, Aalen, Heidenheim but I'm ok with Darmstadt. A bit more of an urban area and then there's Hoffenheim who Dortmund really should've sent down two years ago.

Back to OS Aussies. I think Rogic could contribute at Bremen, Freiburg or Frankfurt. These teams need someone to fill that gap. Hannover have signed Kiyotake so Rogic wouldn't need that competiton. Hertha have too many attackers right now so best he stay away.

I'd have no problem seeing Aussies at mid table clubs in Germany, England or Italy. As long as they're getting game time. Scandinavian clubs in European competitions would also be nice to see. Game time is everything.
