I have to say he's looking more and more comfortable in general. Hasn't had too much of the ball but is constantly putting himself in good positions. Ive seen the other two matches he's featured in and his positioning and awareness is much better than i had expected. Also helps being surrounded by players who would be far better than what he's used to.

Great work by all our lads. Leckie didn't get many touches unfortunately.

disappointed I missed it all but here is a replay of Brillante's goal. Very nice finish. Shouldn't have waited 15 minutes to post the Brillante goal so now I feel like I have to provide something else. How about some Tommy Oar stuff. Quote:"Only when playing something concrete, I'm against it interfere ' Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00
Tommy Oar has no intention of FC Utrecht this month in exchange for another club. The 22-year-old midfielder joined in the summer of 2010 on Brisbane Roar in his native Australia to Domstedelingen. His five-year contract expires after the season 2014/15 at an end and Oar was last season's constant basis.
Its march at FC Utrecht and his participation in the 2014 World Cup with the Socceroos would Oar able to bring to go. a transfer tempted But he does not, even though he is contractually his final year at the club. "I have to be honest, not a second thought," says the International Saturday in the Algemeen Dagblad . "I have excellent enjoying myself here."
However Oar also know that it can go in the sport quickly: today at one club tomorrow with another employer. "The process I have not always in your own hands", he admits. "But only if there are concrete playing something, I'm against it interfere. That is not the case. Extend at FC Utrecht? I do not rule out. It would certainly not punishment. " http://www.voetbalzone.nl/doc.asp?uid=220933Premier league = Eredivisie Quote:"The Premier League does not get behind the competition is growing. It is true that the Premier League has become a development competition. Patience is necessary. In my eyes, this is still one of the best competitions for emerging young players. http://www.elfvoetbal.nl/nieuws/363835_oar-oneens-met-kritiek-op-eredivisieEdited by moofa: 3/8/2014 11:13:32 AM

If Brilliante keeps going at this rate he'll be easily starting in the AC. Say goodbye Milligan?

Is 3-5-3 the usual formation they play? It would better his chance of a starting XI spot playing with 2 out and out DM's you would think ?

Love this kid and am so stoked for him and really excited about what his managed to do in his first months in Europe but.... dare I say we probably shouldn't be getting too ahead of ourselves here...? Maybe we should wait until the season proper before we heap too much expectation and pressure on the kid.

To think Brillante was playing in the A-league last year and now playing alongside David Pizzaro and receiving an assist from "Pepito" Rossi is simply stunning.
Most Viola fans rate the kid too and they are loving his beard.

Nah it's ok Fiorentina are only slightly better than A-League sides so his performances mean nothing.

Loving life atm, jlm...
Jedinak (1st choice) > Milligan (soon to be displaced by Brillante)
Ryan (1st choice) > Langerak (2nd choice forever while he's not playing according to 'roos GK coach)

Nah m8 Valeri will displace Jedinak just you watch, can pass the ball, run, tackle, hit stunning volleys and not fuck up regularly for the roos like Jedi.
All aboard the Valeri #AsianCupHypeTrain

All aboard the Valeri #AsianCupHypeTrain Valeri - Brilliante, in a perfect world. I've missed watching him play and am hoping he is over his injuries and can show some of his best form this season.

Looking good for Brillante fingers crossed. Anyone heard any info about Troisi ? leaving it a little late would be hoping for Ligue 1, Russian PL, Holland, Turkey or maybe Portugal

Dutch Super Cup is on tonight at 2am our time, Zwolle vs Ajax. Good test for Sainsbury and while I could see Ajax not taking it too seriously I think Zwolle will surely be fielding their strongest available team to try and get another bit of silverware. A preview of the game predicts Sainsbury to start with Zwolle having no "big" players out Quote:For this season Zwolle is expecting to finish better, they looked pretty good in the warm up games in the summer. But they lost some key players from last year so it will be a hard task for them. Team news for Zwolle do not reveal any big absentees.
Zwolle lineup: Boer – van Polen, Sainsbury, Broerse, van Hintum – Rienstra, Mokotjo – Karagounis, Saymak, Drost – Thomas http://www.betdistrict.com/fc-zwolle-ajax-amsterdam-betting-preview# EDIT: Just realized since I was searching "Sainsbury Zwolle" I would always get results with him in the team. I found 2 other previews with predicted lineups, one predicted him to star one not. Edited by moofa: 3/8/2014 05:52:18 PM
