Yep, i'm watching. Jedinak has been very solid so far, playing well - winning plenty of challenges. 0-0 halfway through the first half.

25 mins 0-0. Palace getting the better of it generally. Half chances at each end. Zaha very dangerous whenever he gets the ball. Jedi playing strongly and calmly. Fair bit of long ball and pointless heading duels.
28 mins Jedi gets a yellow for an elbow up in a challenge. Looked pretty harmless in replay. Looked bad in real time.
31 mins Jedi throws another elbow into the face of an attacker. Clearly not holding anything back.
37 mins game still flowing back and forth but Watford now getting the best of it. They occasionally play sequences along the ground giving them penetration. Palace rarely playing a ball under 6 foot in height. Zaha popping up on the left now having swapped from the right.
Half time. At the 43 minute mark both sides started playing the ball on the turf. Made it a much better game. Not a clear on shot on target by either side. Looks like a one goal game in the offing.

Edited by SWandP: 28/5/2013 12:34:23 AM That was a beautiful shoulder charge by Jedi. He also played a nice through ball early on as well. Elton John in the crowd as well.

Off to extra time. Palace looking the better side. Zaha is class.

Bugger, Jedinak almost scored. Watford keeper's quite good.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

0-0 into et.
Jedinak had a free glancing header worth note in the 92nd min from a corner. Good pace but in the keepers path.

0-0 after full time, heading into extra time now. Jedinak had a header on target off a corner in the last few seconds of stoppage time but it was a comfortable enough save from Almunia. Crystal Palace were on top and probably had the better of play - had plenty of chances to score but didn't take them.

After watching this. And the way he conducts himself I would love to see jedinak take over captaincy of the national team someday

Zaha wins a penalty for Palace. Palace up 1-0.
Jedinak's a beast, been injured since the start of the 2nd half, and he's still powering through.

Can guarantee that he would. Holloway loves him, and he has proven to be a genuine leader.
