Holman just scored, great strike. All 100 people in the stadium clapped.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Hell, even Eurocentric Australians discrimate against Aussie players... He was never getting 'minutes'. He played pre-season and file din during 1 or 2 games... He's not even close to Fulham's first team.

Saw on Sunderland website that he says he hopes to represent Aus again one day. Still no wiki page.

German commentator just mentioned Aussie defender on the bench. Coates has come off but Yedlin was brought on. Born in UK but lived in Perth and has played for our youth team?

From Sunderland website
Tom is an old-school defender who began a two-year scholarship with the club in summer 2012. He joined the Academy at the age of 8 and had a spell in Australia before returning to the UK. He continued his footballing education at the Academy before being offered a youth contract with the club. Tom made nine appearances for the under-18’s in 2012-13 as injures limited his opportunities in the early stages of the campaign. After breaking into the development squad in the final game of their campaign – a 2-2 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage – Tom has become a regular fixture in the U21s. Beadling continued to feature on a regular basis for the club's U21s during the 2014-15 season, and, despite being a defender, managed to score in three consecutive Barclays U21 Premier League fixtures.

Irvine now sits 3rd on the overall SPL assists tally for the season with 8 in the spl, plus one in the cup plus 2 goals. Double rogics assists which is pretty crazy especially considering the differences in squad quality between the two sides not to take away from Rogic though who has been excellent but for a DM Irvine is doing very very well especially considering his age. This season is as good as luongos was last year at club level imo. Will be interesting to see where he goes from here he seems to place a lot of emphasis on actually playing which is refreshing given the number of bench warmers we have I can't see him operating out of Britain with Celtic and rangers the only two Scottish teams who would be a real step up in Scotland rangers of course very questionable if they will get back to a celtic type level next season. A promotion chasing championship side looks like his best bet unless Celtic want him back either move would be really good for him although celtic may see his games limited but he would no doubt get an acceptable amount of game time if this form keeps up fingers crossed either way.

Here's Burgess' playing record, you can see if you click on the "4" in the table that those were the first four games of the season Burgess played all 90 in. All four were losses (of course not solely attributed to Burgess) and after these four games the manager Felix Magath was sacked, and he's been down the pecking ever since. That or it was the anti-Aussies abroad illuminati, of course. Edited by paladisious: 31/12/2015 03:46:19 PM

Irvine seems to have improved massively by actually playing. Who would have thought playing would improve ones game.

spl players and league 1 players have tended to improve for us more and perform better for the roos than ecl players. Which is interesting because the ecl is better quality than league 1 or the spl

And he was never seen again after pledging himself to Australia, coincidence I'm sure:roll:
