Here is a great Hudd board to follow all things Aaron Mooy http://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/100825/aaron-mooy?page=34Someone posted this Aaron Mooy made 104 passes against Rotherham last night. The away side's entire midfield quartet only managed a total of 96. ... End And if Rogic doesn't get a run tonight I hope he leaves the club. He deserves a game

He deserves a game problem is that rodgers looks like he is going to shit himself against any decent team and play a defensive formation. something that doesnt get done in the SPL. i dont know how you expect a team to win using a formation they never usually play with - against superior opposition.

He obviously has no faith in his team or his philosophy. Scotland needs a craig foster to tear him to shreds after that barca match. If i was a player i would feel so betrayed.

I always get a chuckle from comments like this (regardless the player)... It’s not like the player can just quit and sign for a new club. Such pointless comments they are.

I figured he could sign for Barca next weekend if he wanted. No? World football doesn't work like that silly me. So you're happy to be shamed like that ? You think this is a career aspiration box that rogic should satisfy himself with. Confronting division 3 standard teams of the SPL?

As the match is being played at Parkhead, I am expecting/hoping we will be pressing much higher (and all over) up the pitch like normal, and not sit back like we did against Barca. If we do that in defense, then our attack should be a lot quickier and hopefully deceive. I am really hoping the Barca performance (and result) is going to be a once off.

I'm not a Celtic fan and it hurt. Just hope Tommy gets a run. If he doesn't I hope the manager explains well and he doesn't feel spurned. After all a player strives to play at the highest level Cheers

+x+x+x+x+xSome comments on Mooy from twitter. Seriously can't believe we've got Aaron mooy playing for us. immense player. Everything comes off him. Aaron MOOY is magic he wears a magic hat Please don't shout "man on" to Aaron Mooy again. He's a football Jedi, he knows all. He doesn't need any help. This current Socceroos group of players excites me even more than our Asian cup squad. Mooy and Rogic being two of the bigger newcomers. yeh....HTFC fans keep saying how lucky the club is to have Mooy what i find funny, is no fan talk about Mooy being slow  only in Australia Yep, I got that wrong and I'm happy about that. On the thing about the Huddersfield Town fans... I had a glance at their forum. A fairly huge proportion of their fans seem to think Mooy is too slow to play at CAM (or at least not nearly as well-suited to it as he is to where he's currently playing or other CAM options). They think he's far better suited to a slightly less advanced role and it's quite entertaining watching their interaction with Aussies who've made accounts and are telling them he needs to be playing higher up. For what it's worth, I think neither group is completely right or wrong on that issue. they think he's too slow because according to them, the role of AM os to play on a wing and burn off the opposition full back. What exactly the actual winger's role is supposed to be i have no idea. But that's English Football Fan Analysis for you. Same thing said on TalkCeltic about Rogic when he was played deep next to Bitton. They had Commons and Henderson who showed a lot of energy and goal scoring ability so many struggled to get their heads around playing someone who looked like they were jogging instead of busting a lung. Im actually happy that Mooy is being played as an 8 and not a 10. Better for Australia and Anges circulation game. Mmmm, some did say things about Rogic not being quick enough. Leaving aside what the Huddersfield lot say (I don't think they're absolutely right or wrong), the thing is that in Britain they seem to prefer very specific traits in a CAM (probably also in other parts of Europe to some extent). Rogic seems to possess more of these traits which they want. So, even though some people thought Rogic wasn't quick enough, his one-on-one knack and ability to carry the ball on his own are in keeping with that ideal of a CAM. Mooy is more of a traditional playmaker. He moves the ball around smartly and he takes smart little touches which buy him space. I get the notion that their ideal is to place a lot of importance in such a footballer. But they want him a bit deeper. They want him to dictate the pace of play, which he's better able to do from a less advanced position than a CAM. As you say, better for the circulation game. On the one hand, it seems to me a bit restrictive to think Mooy can't play that advanced. There have been some mighty fine CAMs who play in a similar fashion to Mooy. It's not without merit having him there. I suppose Pirlo played more of a regista role, but he'd still be incredible as a CAM (and he surely has done at various points). On the other hand, if they have a specific style and it's working so well for them, can Wagner be faulted? If he wants attacking midfielders to be able to bring the game to the opposition on their own and he wants Mooy to have more control in terms of dictating the pace of the game, with more touches if necessary, then it makes perfect sense to deploy Mooy a bit further back. Either way, I agree it's probably good for Australia.

I guess we will find out in a couple of hours time as to how we will be playing and who will be playing.

Adrtho - "No fans from Huddersfield are saying he is slow, only in Australia"
Except the article last week written by an Englishman, comparing him to Zidane and calling him "bald and slow".

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
