+xWilkshire played 90 in the russian league on weekend. Bad luck for him Ange has so many options at right back. wilkshite blew it with his shit attitude and fat guts. why would ange carry anyone with a shit attitude when they are that old? if he did what was asked he would be in the mix.

+x+x+x+x+xAlso bar maybe Sydney and City, no team is championship level in the league, especially since the championship has gone up a level or two this past season. Just on this note...go to the Huddersfield forums, at downatthemac.com and read the truly embarrassing posts by some Aussies on the Mooy thread...A-league teams play modern football, so much better than the the Championship, English coaches don't know how to utilise a genuine #10 etc etc Truly cringeworthy... Cringeworthy but 100% true. Championship football is dire. Our top 4 would demolish every team I've watched this season (about 10 teams). It's like a whole different game. Their attackers are head down and dribble and "git it in tha fookin box" and "shooooot" from ridiculous positions. No ability to pass out from the back (90% of teams "possession" is center and full backs passing to each other), no ability to link up in attack (It's all one off rubbish) and to be fair pretty intensive, stubborn defense. But that is English football, strong, physical players, stubborn defence hit on the counter with pace. Or the good old route one. It is just a different style of football, they could easily pass out from the back but the manager doesn't want them too, its defensive stability first and foremost. Now not every team also plays like that either, a lot play attacking football but it comes with a higher risk against compact defences which we simply don't have in this league. Also another reason why championship football is often like that is due to the sheer number of matches they play. 46 matches, 2 cups and now with international break which they are apart of (which shows the quality of the league considering a lot play for their countries), fixtures are squeezed even further. The teams couldn't manage going full throttle for an entire season which is the biggest difference between the leagues. They have depth. Yes I know "that is English football". Fact is it's objectively shit. Teams that play "English football" get routinely destroyed by teams that play decent intelligent football. Exhibit A: the premier league - the teams that play "English football" get wrecked Exhibit B: the championship - the best teams play the least "English football". Exhibit C: The English national team - gets fucked up by everyone including iceland. The funniest thing to me is your comment about the risk involved with attacking football. "English football" people are so fucking dumb (im not talking about you city sam) that they don't realize that a win and 2 losses is as good as 3 draws. These idiots are all about the hard fought draws. As if anyone with a brain doesn't understand that going for 3 points and risking getting 0 is a better idea than holding out for a single point. You remember we got pumped by that shit england team right? Haha

jedinaks aston villa pick up their first win in 11 matches under the new boss steve bruce. it's going to be a lot of work to turn about a team that has been getting its arse kicked up and down the park for well over a year now. he picked up a 7.2 on whoscored which is a decent effort.

He hasn't been posted about much here this season but Ajdin Hrustic picked up an injury on the weekend. He has seemingly been doing well captaining Jong Groningen and played in the first teams friendly during the international break (about 5 youth players were called up). He was stretchered off the field and taken to hospital but the only quote I can find about it post game from the manager seems positive. Losing feeling in a leg sounds like a slipped disk. Only case I could find was John terry in 2006 which put him out for 8 weeks. Ten minutes before the break was arranging anything substantial for all those present in Huizen. Ajdin Hrustic came after an ugly clash justified and had no feeling in one of his legs. He was transported by ambulance, but as evening after examination at a hospital in Hilversum it again along with the team bus to Groningen. Arts (manager): "The feeling happy already started to come back and Ajdin will report Sunday at the club doctors FC Groningen." https://www.fcgroningen.nl/nieuws/fc-groningen-onder-23-gelijk-bij-hekkensluiter-sv-huizen/2

Goodwin's game. Goal at 0:25 and assist next highlight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPX12hTX1GQAlso just noticed Murnane is in the Norwegian second tier and with his club winning on the weekend (Murnane on the bench) they guaranteed they will be in the promotion play-offs in a few weeks. He has appeared in 2 games so far getting 57 minutes total. In his one start he got a yellow and was dragged off with his side 2-1 down, they went on to win 2-4.

Their stats for this and last season are Brogno: 2016/17: 4 goals 2 assists (goal every 179 mins). 2015/16: 16 goals 10 assists Verhaar: 2016/17: 2 goals 0 assists (goal every 217 mins). 2015/16: 24 goals 17 assists Goodwin: 2016/17: 2 goals 3 assists (goal every 221 mins). 2015/16: Not at Sparta but 4 goals 1 assist. Since they were in the division below their last season stats don't make them amazing players but it does mean they are fan favourites and the manager will trust them. It will be hard for Goodwin to totally eclipse them but he has started very well and will continue to get minutes.

Wright is starting against Mooy and PNE lead 1:0. Some decent passing by Rogic bit he's stuck in a position of constant chasing and barely has enough energy in attack. He needs massive sprint and endurance training.

Celtic have been poor, getting beaten in midfield, not able to keep the ball under pressure. A bit of luck and good goalkeeping from Gordon has stopped them conceding. Rogic has been a bit better than most of the Celtic team but not great either. Just played an excellent ball to Sinclair who should have done better. Overall Gordon, Brown and Rogic have been their best three probably in that order. It is good to see that Rogic has been attempting passes around the area not shooting automatically like he has been at times. While he can score spectacularly passes are probably going to create more goals.

Huddersfield find it hard to create goal shots, they 3rd last in Championship for shots at goal...Mooy can have the ball the most in Huddersfield team as Def Midfielder , or Mooy can have the ball the most as Att Midfielder

Luongo in whoscored team of the week again. This is the second week running. Got a nice assist again for the winning goal. He is one of the best midfielders in the league in my opinion.

He needs massive sprint and endurance training. By the sound of it, he already does a heck of a lot of endurance work. Still got room for improvement there? In terms of spring training, can he get quicker? Throw that out to sports science people.

Jones got another clean sheet in the 1-0 win this weekend. He didn't have to do a lot and Feyenoord probably should have scored more. The goal he conceded last week was a bit of a blunder from him. This weekend is a big game with Feyenoord playing Ajax. If Ajax win Feyenoord will still be on top thanks to their perfect record so far but letting Ajax back in will hurt their confidence. The Feyenoord - NEC highlights. got to 0:45 for Jones conceding

Lol don't the Celtic faithful watch the Bundesliga? Expecting to beat even Gladbach at the moment. May have beat last seasons Eintracht Frankfurt.

Stuttgart lead 2:1. Langerak conceded a well placed, low free kick. He got half and hand to it. He was screaming at his wall to do something, they ignored him and let the ball go through the wall. He was livid when it went in. Otherwise 3 good saves from Mitch and hood catching of crosses.
