I doubt Mooy would be able to play against his parent team.

+xI doubt Mooy would be able to play against his parent team. I doubt City would have inserted that clause when loaning one of their squad players to a team in the division below them. Only a remote chance they would actually play each other. They want him to get game-time in any case and would probably be seen as a good test for him and for the club to scout his performance even more.

I reckon that clause is a standard in a loan agreement, and I bet City didn't bother to take it out of the loan contract.

I reckon that clause is a standard in a loan agreement, and I bet City didn't bother to take it out of the loan contract. I'm pretty sure it's an FA/Premier League rule on loaning to English clubs, rather than just a clause. Edit: Hull City pair Isaac Hayden and Chuba Akpom will be unable to face parent side Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round later this month. Though midfielder Hayden had professed himself keen to face Arsene Wenger’s side when he returns to the Emirates on 20 February neither he nor his fellow loanee will be able to play any part in the match. FA regulations forbid players from appearing against the lending club regardless of any agreement between the two sides. Hayden told the club website: “It's one of those ties; Arsenal and Hull have been drawn together a few times now so it didn't come too much as a surprise, but it's a good draw and it'll be a tough game - anything can happen.”

Ahh okay. I guess it could be a match fixing consideration if potentially the player had closer ties to his parent club than his loan club.

Tomi Juric linked with Reading on deadline day. £2m bid apparently.
That would be a very interesting end to the championship season for Australian players. I kind of hope he takes it.

Would be interesting to see that move but I'm not sure his body could handle it. Also, he's not nearly clinical enough for the championship.

Ideally we'd probably want him playing every week rather than getting at best sporadic apperances, but can't see him knocking back an opportunity to have a shot at the Prem, and if not he would be in a good Championship team. Looks like they mainly play 4-3-3 but have been mixing it up with a 3-5-2 lately which if they stuck with would surely indicate more of a chance for Juric to get minutes.. His competition for spots is Kermogant, 35 and off contract at the end of the season, and Beerens, and then the subs have been Mendes, 25, 10 apps 256 min 0 goals, and Samuel, 22, 12 apps, 2 goals, 561 min.

Also a transfer rumour going around that Chelsea want to buy Dembele from Celtic. If that transfer goes through and Dembele is not in the Celtic squad for the second half of the season, any idea how that might affect Rogic (if at all) ?

But gauging the talent in the SPFL. That would slaughter the league

+xHannover stadium empty. Why? 29,000. Wet Monday night. The camera angle isn't the best. The north end is always full.

Wright Ryan Jones Williams Smith Meredith starting.
No Jedinak or Elder.
No O'Neill and Burnley have signed Westwood from Villa. He's an absolute imposter and the fact he's back in the EPL is criminal.

Ryan in a bright yellow kit like a highlighter.
A shot hit the outside of his post and he just came out well to block a shot which deflected across the box but to no danger.

Ryan concedes. A decent lobbed pass goes behind the defence. Ryan hesitates to come out but the ball lands perfectly in the semi circle for the striker anyway allowing him to slot it to Ryan's right.
Had Ryan stayed back I think the striker would have had more pressure from the two sprinting defenders. He luckily rushed his shot.
