+x+xSutherland in NPL 1 & Mounties in NPL2 only clubs to not participate for the rest of 2020, which will make it 11 team comps. Re-commencement of the season will be late july. Do we know why Sutherland and Mounties are not playing? What happens to their players, I assume they will join other teams? Promotion and relegation not happening this season

Promotion and relegation not happening this season Sutho's sponsors have pulled the pin, so the rest of the season isn't financially viable for them. Patrick Antelmi has left United and signed for HAL club Western United.

yet Sutho have been pushing having a summer comp at Seymour I hear. Mounties no money ? isn't the club open again whilst having people spend coin on pokies. P/R should have still gone ahead for me. Would have really intensified every game. Wonder what talks are when next seasons comp starts.

Would have really intensified every game. Wonder what talks are when next seasons comp starts. If we are playing, pro/rel should have definitely stayed. We also should have kept the results of the first two rounds. I've been told that the player who got sent off in our last game will still be suspended yet the results are not. How does that work?

yer thats stupid period. Its a new comp not carrying on from pre covid so the player should be allowed to play suspension dropped. No sense. I'm still pissed no P/R - wrong call.

I'm still pissed no P/R - wrong call. i disagree, this year is already a joke, only 11 games, does the first 3 matches count? it's been poorly handled from the start by FNSW and some clubs, i feel as if this season should of been cancelled. pro / rel off 11 games would of been really unfair.

IMO as we know its a unique year/season. It is what it is, considering were all going back to play, its on like donkey kong. You make it count, not a mickey mouse comp. 11 games or not its a sprint, may the best team win over 11 for the minor prem. Its not unfair - your all in the same 11 game bucket. Top 2 play a GF. Our O45 comp is 14 rounds incl a GF - its go for it. Not sure about P/R I'll find out but the point is imo again it is what it is, 1unique season you play for points and glory. Everyone is too precious for me.

NPL 3 and 4 start July 18th. Still no fixtures and no word about when we can register players to cover for those who have left.

Whilst the matches are no longer put of the competition going forward, they were still matches sanctioned by FNSW, and thus FNSW will apply all suspensions from those matches.

We should be allowed to serve them in trial matches which are sanctioned by Football NSW. Possibility, but the Disciplinary Regulations (yes, I did go and look at the NSW ones this time) state: A Participant subject to a Fixture Suspension resulting from or related to any Premiership,Championship, Cup or FFA Cup Fixture must serve that Suspension in the next Premiership,Championship, Cup or FFA Cup Fixture(s) in which that Participant’s Team or Club plays in,whichever occurs first, until that Suspension is served in full. A Participant cannot serve such aSuspension in a Trial Match, Tournament, the NPL Pre-Season Competition, the Futsal State Titles, the FFA national titles, any Football NSW Representative Match, any competition, event ortournament conducted by another Member Federation or any other match/fixture. But, in following that, a suspension in a FNSW representative match CAN be served in the NPL, FFA Cup, etc

+xStill no fixtures out since annoucement July 1. Still waiting for the senior window to open. Start in just over a week and haven't been able to replace players. The lack of organisation is disturbing.

Could never have been relegation from NPL1 with Sutherland not playing unless you: -relegated them - last goes into a playoff with 1st from NPL2 But as if FNSW would ever have the balls to do something like that.

yep FNSW have made it a random short season, short no matter imo but playing practice games for nothing but having a gallop. Why I've said no matter the shorter fixtures you play for something FFS just as usual. The Sutho issue agreed, what you do with them seeing they opted out, you can't relegate them (them again why not they deserve it) but fine and deduct points to following season., just as not having your paperwork submitted in time the other season to those few Clubs. Last is relegated and playoff is PL1 2nd last vs PL2 2nd place for eg. Yes I know many wouldn't agree BUT its time its not the Clubs making the calls but the system your entered in for. Thats life.

Got a draft draw for NPL 4 so I'm assuming the other clubs in NPL 1-3 did too. Still waiting to hear about the window opening.

Rumours that WSW to NPL 1 and Newcastle to NPL 2 in order to get ready for the Olyroos.

He has a point. Football NSW have to communicate why they've picked WSW ahead of CCM. Are more WSW players than CCM players being considered for the Olyroos?
