yep re the NB scenario its been done it seems with the Bulls. Not a real nice scenario for last seasons 1st graders : The club didn’t even tell the first grade boys. They had find out via Instagram, most of them could have moved to other NPL 1 clubs if they were told about this earlier. Proper done nasty in my opinion The Clean Sheet is a mine field since annoucement. I honestly don't get this club, they sold their soul to CCM before BUT at least made some sense due to geography but this one.

A dark day for my beloved Northbridge. Not quite sure where to go from here. At least with the mariners, their involvement was minimal and they still had their own youth team. Now we are literally just a by product of an A-league team located 60km South West.

Joke, how this is allowed is worse. Bulls have given a good light what they think of all the local Clubs around their catchment and NB showing once agin its all about $$$$$$. Bulls walk into PL1 a smart move by them but so under handed.

This was a move so all the players can play NPL1 football. Macarthur Bulls are a Joke, NB is a bigger joke for selling themselves again, and FNSW are pussies for not getting involved.

I can’t see what’s in it for Northbridge other than a bit of $$$, which if Bulls have control over the license won’t be worth anything to them anyway.

+xI can’t see what’s in it for Northbridge other than a bit of $$$, which if Bulls have control over the license won’t be worth anything to them anyway. word was they were struggling for money even whilst with the CCM link which is staggering, the growth in that Club for Jnrs + its womens teams the last 10yrs at least was pretty damn good they had to be pulling in some good revenue. YL costs were on or over $2k. They had board issues and Pres got over thrown if I'm right ??? Their main only pitch can only take so much traffic so there was the added expense on hiring 2-3 more grounds ? used for training and youth games. The link having another AL club with them draws in those parents willing to pay $2k + for Jnr so they can say my son plays for this Rep Club. Its a massive typical soccer Mum area.

Yep you've all summed it up well. This will probably be my last post with this logo/username as it was hard enough to accept the whole first team being replaced with U23's from the Bulls, let alone moving their home ground 50km away. As such, there is literally no way I can support this club now so guess I have to find a new team which is easier said than done after supporting this team since I moved to Sydneys north shore 6 years ago.
Good luck for the season boys. Glad you all support clubs with history and integrity.

All the very best, hope you find what your looking for, north shore based Tigers or Spirit re PL I guess or a good ol fashioned long time grass roots NSFA Club. I've played for a few over my years hence my long time knowledge of NB.

+x+xCurious how all the squad changes will work with PPS? bet you they will be excluded ! Wasn’t there a rule FNSW created not allowing too many clubs from a certain area in the NPL, they used it to justify the axing of Hurstville Minotaurs, Gazy Auburn and Balmain? If so they are allowing another “club” to play out of the most densely represented and challenging areas.

Isn't there a rule about having a club play their home games over an hour away from their actual location? Surely...!

Any idea when the Cup draw is done? I think last year it was in February.

The early rounds are usually the end of Feb from memory, I’d guess the draw would be early to mid Feb.

+xTarek Elrich and Marc Warren > Mt Druitt, I Think Groenbast who played for us last season before Covid is there too. ND breathing a sigh of relief no relegation for 2021. this whole northbridge thing is a joke, its taking the pi$$. the treatment of their players who were axed is as low as it gets. northbridge playing out of Fairfield, makes sense. that said, looking forward to what should be a cracking season. some interesting player moves too. usual suspects will feature at seasons end me thinks. theres a couple of what I would call weaker squads too. bring it on.
