+x+xTarek Elrich and Marc Warren > Mt Druitt, I Think Groenbast who played for us last season before Covid is there too. ND breathing a sigh of relief no relegation for 2021. this whole northbridge thing is a joke, its taking the pi$$. the treatment of their players who were axed is as low as it gets. northbridge playing out of Fairfield, makes sense. that said, looking forward to what should be a cracking season. some interesting player moves too. usual suspects will feature at seasons end me thinks. theres a couple of what I would call weaker squads too. bring it on. Agreed, our squad has too much uncertainty, however a couple of young players with potential coming in, a top half finish would be a good result for us. For me personally, I’ll just be happy to watch the team play after what 2020 gave us, and with the FFA cup looking to be back will also give us some extra entertainment.

Brandon Hooper in defence has come in and Alex Masciovecchio up front from Sydney Fc however i personally can’t remember what he was like last year for Sydney NPL. overall the ins and outs are balanced from last couple of season. Do you have a list of ins and out for Rockdale?

Yer bugger all about anything season coming up And TBH how big it is being whats in store the following season. I like keeping tabs as shown below. PL1 early pics Wolves SU Suns SO Marconi Bottom Mt Druitt PL2 - < isn't it Top 4 finishers into PL1 2022 ? making all levels into 16 team comps. CCM Spirit Tigers BWE Spartans Bottom Hills PL3 - Top 5 finishers go to PL2 2022 season on ?...... BCity GRM Rydalmere Berries Dunbar Bottom Bankstown United PL4 - Top 6 finishers up to PL3 2022 on Fraser Uni Hawks Hurstville Nepean Bottom Rage Something like that re 2022 comps and the U23's if I'm right. Huge season coming up for every level TBH.

Top 5 Sydney United Rockdale Olympic Marconi Blacktown bottom: Northbridge/MacArthur/Fairfield
Apia have had a poor pre season and looked weaker against us in a pre season match.
Mt Druitt could be a surprise package with some of their signings.
NPL 2, you would have to think Mariners and Wanderers will be pushing for promotion, along with Northern Tigers, Bonnyrigg and St George for my picks.
NPL 3, Rydalemere and Bankstown City to fight it out again.
NPL4 Fraser Park to top it again.

SU I'm surprised you tip APIA top 5, as much as I'd like seeing that woeful last season and by Sutho's comment of recent game isn't sounding promising. Don't know whats going on and as we all know pre season sometimes is not a good yard stick. One thing is for sure with the changes coming for '22 its going to be a BIG season for all.

I don’t think they will be down the bottom of the ladder but I can’t see them achieving what they have the last 3-4 years, could see them finishing 4-6th. However like LFC said preseason results are hard to judge.

Syn pitchs fellas, I was listenning to a guy I know involved with Rydalmere the other week....... He was telling me they have been suffering many inuries during pre season, more than usual, mostly YL and abouts and he's saying syn pitch's are a factor. They do have their positives But I do believe its a contributing factor myself long ago. Have you guys experienced similar since their inception ? As for myself having played on them, I love the true flatness about them but hate how the ball doesn't slow up like on grass. My other gripe I have found many times I suffer not connecting with ball as well as when shooting on grass pitchs. Peeeevs me off.

It was re done about 4-5 years ago after originally being installed late 2000’s, so my guess would be another couple years before being done again. I’m no expert but I think it’s still tiger turf which maybe isn’t as good as some of the newer stuff out.
When it rains all the rubber comes up and pools together and looks trash, not sure the reason but maybe too much rubber(?) especially after a full day of youth league, 20’s then by first grade it looks terrible. My guess would be one of the reasons why youth and seniors have been separated on alternate weeks for the coming season. I have seen it after being brushed/levelled and it looks like a different pitch.

what's with clubs this season making 3pm KO's on saturday, and even 5.30pm? Northbridge are going it, Sutherland, Olympic & APIA. I'm all for friday night games, but those saturday times are just stupid.

I guess clubs don’t pull much of a crowd at any time don’t really care if they’re at an inconvenient time for fans. Northbridge are probably picking a time that doesn’t clash with the Bulls, Olympic said something about electrical works. Who knows...
