Episode 8 release pushed back from May 2017 to December 2017.

At least we have "rouge one" to fill in the wait.

Looks like Disney is going to camp Starwars on December for the next 4-5 years.

Spoilers have come out for Rogue One that indicate that Darth Vader will be in the movie and participating in an action scene/battle.

Saw this here in CR. Most unintentionally funny movie I've seen in years. I hate dubbing so I saw it in English with Czech subtitles. These guys know how to laugh with translations. When the droids would make their beeping noises etc there's be czech subtitles to translate it, a subtle nod that apparently R2D2 speaks English :lol:

R2D2 "beepity beepity beepity bob"
subtitle "Co?!" (what?)

A Star Wars trailer without even the hint of a lightsaber, feels weird but so good at the same time. Long overdue imo.

The amount of idiots asking about where the Bothans are in every fucking story for this trailer make me want to kick a puppy.

One thing I do like is that they got the same actress who played Mon Mothma in Revenge of The Sith to play her in Rogue One.

The best part is the people who are saying which actor is 'Manny Bothans', nevermind that the Bothans died stealing the plans for the 2nd Death Star, not the first :lol: All we ever hear about the first Death Star plans are 'rebel spies'

Only just saw the latest installment in the last week or so.  Bunch of arse that was almost an exact copy of Episode 4 or whatever the first one was that came out in 1977.

Great CGI, great action, great everything actually.  The story though is a just a tarted up rerun of the first.

Not sure if this has already been discussed and dismissed but as you can probably tell I'm not a star wars nerd.  (May well be very wrong.)

Well it's a new trilogy, so it needs a proper beginning, middle, and end.

It's the typical tale of 'The Hero's Journey'. I thought it rocked :)

at least the prequels tried to be original

I loved it when I saw it in the cinema. My son and I went a second time to take my daughter and wife and still enjoyed it.
I still really like it but after the passage of time and then watching it after the blue ray came out that sameness has taken the edge of it for me.
Although I do like that a new director gets to take a well done reboot forward from here that should be something entirely fresh and new.

Also Rouge one looks great.
