Im in the same boat. Something to do with the layout of the apartment block. It's really annoying, can afford real foxtel but cant have it.

Xbox Foxtel is better than not being able to watch A-League but the picture quality is terrible.

Crowd scenes after a goal is scored are hillarious. It's like watching a crowd in an old FIFA game.

I have a great broadband plan, download habitually and have never come close to going over my data allowance. 2 weeks with Foxtel for Xbox and it was all gone.

It's a shit service, high data usage for nothing that's all that great in terms of quality.

For proper Foxtel, more or less the same package as the one on the Xbox is $60 p/m. Of course this doesn't include the install fee, but it's also getting the proper Foxtel set top box. I'm also a bit skeptical on the potential quality as I have iinet's Fetch TV at the moment and the buffering on the IPTV channels is damn annoying.

I find Foxtel price fairly reasonable. I only use the Xbox option as we can't get Foxtel on our building. Although when I had Fox I was spending around $100 a month, so I'd consider Xbox to still be significantly cheaper.

I think basic + sport is now $ 49.50p/m. The sports channels are Fox Sports 1,2,3 plus ESPN and ESPN 2, Fuel, Speed, Eurosport and the AFL channel.

Just thought I'd let anyone out there considering this that they now have the same Sports option as regular Foxtel. Fox Sports 1, 2 & 3 (as well as the old ones). Fairly sure there's no red button but we're getting there.

Would of thought you will be able to catch the series in England on FTA, even if on a secondary channel. The last two played over there have been shown on SBS

Welp, that's the last time I say nice things about TPG.

The basic Pack+Sport which is all I want would be 29.50 a month. 19.50 for Basic + 10 for sport. At the moment the same two packages on normal Foxtel is 38.50 p/m for 6 months, and then 61 p/m for 6 months.

In terms of what cricket I want to watch, any. In terms of which EPL games I want to watch, any. :lol: Whatever is on will be more than what I get to watch now, so it's all positive.

I think I'll sign up and see how it goes. There's no contract and you can cancel any time, so worst comes to worst, I'll cut it after a month or two.

How much does it cost? You might be able to get a deal with Foxtel itself and get 'real' foxtel installed cheap.

TPG is good, also if you have a new Samsung you can just stream direct to the TV in 1080p.
