So, whilst looking up some stuff about model rockets i found this on the Workcover NSW site

"The licensed pyrotechnician must notify WorkCover seven working days before any fireworks, distress signal or model rocket propellant device is used"

What chance does someone have a setting off a flare at a game when you need to give 7 days notice to set one off legally!
Bad luck if you didnt fill out the paperwork before your ship went down!

The kids on UltrasTifo will be very disappointed to hear about this law.

Is it fair to ask flare-throwers to fill out paperwork if they probably can't read?

Well, it was just a light hearted look at a subject that gets a lot of time on here.

Well clearly this doesn't apply to active support, only to licensed pyrotechnicians.

Wouldn't want to end up spilling your beer on your family after shitting your pants, would we? ;)

I'm more interested to know how you're supposed to give 7 days notice prior to setting off a distress signal.

The ship is going down, but I haven't given workcover seven days notice :/
