Im not sure whats worse
The air quality in Sydney today
Or being forced to referee the football in it for four hours this morning?
Kids were forced to go home - crying, unable to play on a smoky saturday morning because parents were fearful the air could play up on their asthma

To hell with that! What about the school sports on saturday morning? I rocked up to my game in total optimism :^o They called off all grades except first grade, and it was called off 12 minutes in when the ball started spinning around on the spot

Balmy 54 degrees in Basra. But the temperatures in Kuwait and Iraq startled observers. On July 22, the mercury climbed to 54 degrees in the southern Iraqi city of Basra. A day earlier, it reached 54 in Mitribah, Kuwait. If confirmed by the World Meteorological Organisation, the two would mark the hottest temperatures ever recorded in the eastern hemisphere.http://www.smh.com.au/environment/climate-change/epic-middle-east-heatwave-could-be-global-warmings-hellish-curtainraiser-20160810-gqpu6u.html
