Well well well once you dig a little deeper the role of this SAP program in this dark period in Victoria football becomes more clear
Step 1 FFV bans any club applying for the NPL to have sub juniors teams basically forcing them to throw out their juniors. I wonder why?
Step 2 FFV in their financials allows a budget for SAP program in every NPL club
Step 3 FFV carefully use the word ‘manage’ SAP programs in their press release
Step 4 FFV dangle a carrot of this exclusive ‘management’ of the SAP program to the last couple of clubs that are actually still considering applying to imply they can make some money out of this program
Step 5 This is the real conniving part the FFV will control this program at every NPL club and then charge a fee for this privilege to ‘manage’ the SAP program. The fact that FFV will control this and then make money out of this is scary and sickening
I will give the SAP people some advice now, get off your behinds and run a FREE weekend SAP coaching course for every community club in Victoria then turn the TV off and get in your cars and each evening visit these clubs and support them to implement the program. Yes you will need to actually lower yourselves and speak with the ‘common folk’ from the clubs that are outside of your FFV delusional bubble. Dont be scared they wont bite!
Note the words FREE and SUPPORT which is what we all pay our kids registrations each year for!
As absurd as it sounds for those ignorant SAP people plotting this move there are capable and passionate people out there that with the right SUPPORT could easily handle running a program like this at the clubs without the need for this divisive powerplay
Then once you have landed back down on earth could you lower your ego and allow the NPL clubs to have their junior teams back. This would be a good starting point to demonstrate to the clubs that you are not against them but actually supporting and servicing their needs to ensure growth and prosperity for future years.
