No that was the correct descion, maybe not the correct interpretation but by the rules it was correct, also carelessness by the defender and keeper at the time... that's a grey area... the penalty was clearly wrong descion in the first half just like the beach ball

Andy Carroll really unlucky not to score from the corner there. The lad did well. Not well enough I guess.

Key difference was that last year either none of the officials saw the incident clearly, or none of them had the balls to make the call...

On the penalty tonight, the ref made the right decision initially but the linesman 'corrected' him. To change a decision you have to be 100% certain... So this guy was 100% certain, and wrong.

Meanwhile, every decision going the way of the Scousers.
