Wolves hold on to record their first win against Aston Villa in 17 matches. No luck for Chris Herd on debut.
Stoke embarrass Newcastle.
Liam Hoilett has scored a dramatic equaliser for Blackburn against Charlie Adam.

Good news for Arsenal fans, United have been cut to ten men after Evans went in on Holden with two feet. debut? he's played 6 games for Villa, played against man united and arsenal, thats his 3rd premier league game, im guessing u meant his first start

He played alright. Nothing special but he wasn't at fault for the goal so that's a plus for him. Hopefully he gets another chance soon but Clarke will be back from suspension next week...

Tonight's Liverpool Line-up: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Spearing, Lucas, Meireles, Suarez, Kuyt, Carroll. Subs: Gulacsi, Kyrgiakos, Wilson, Cole, Maxi, Poulsen, Ngog.
Good to see Suarez and Carroll both starting. Still perplexed to see Spearing in there.

This has to be one of the most bizarre corner tactics I've seen with Carroll there.

But I'll take it for sure. :) Nice one Dirky. Feel a bit sorry for Sunderland though.

So sick of Pool fans saying it's karma for the beachhall incident. Funny how none of them mention the dodgy goal they got at Anfield.

Quite the first half there. Lucky to be in front.
Suarez has looked excellent, haven't seen someone so dangerous on the counter for us since Owen left.
Carroll's lack of match practice is showing, his touch needs some work.

No, your justice came at Anfield this season. It takes a fair bit of Karma to balance the awful decision to let that goal stand.

Penalty cancels out the beachball. That's life. Win some, lose some.
By the way, commentator needs to learn how to say Suarez - he's doing my head in with this SOO-ARE-EZ business - I've a good mate called Suarez, from Uruguay, and he pronounces it SWAR-ESS.

No, your justice came at Anfield this season. No that was the correct descion, maybe not the correct interpretation but by the rules it was correct, also carelessness by the defender and keeper at the time... that's a grey area... the penalty was clearly wrong descion in the first half just like the beach ball

Yeah, that's been getting to me too #-o Andy Carroll really unlucky not to score from the corner there. The lad did well. Not well enough I guess.

Key difference was that last year either none of the officials saw the incident clearly, or none of them had the balls to make the call... On the penalty tonight, the ref made the right decision initially but the linesman 'corrected' him. To change a decision you have to be 100% certain... So this guy was 100% certain, and wrong. Meanwhile, every decision going the way of the Scousers.
