Fun game between Bentleigh and Heidelberg, gotta give it to the bergers they were running over the top of Bentleigh in the 2nd half which is crazy considering how much football they have played and making 2 early forced subs with injury.
Hopefully the playing surface out at Kingston Heath will be much better for the semi, not sure what’s happened down there.

Great drama in Bentleigh's box with the Berger's keeper coming up.

+x1,823. Sums the Cup up, everyone says how great it is but no one really wants to watch it. Aha spoken like the fan of a team who can't win a cup game.

It'll be nice for this year's guaranteed NPL Semi-Finalist to at least have beaten an A-League team on the way.

Apia don't have a decent fan base for starters and they are playing Adelaide who you can't expect to bring over much fans on a weekday. On the other hand 1800 at Lambert would have looked great unlike here.

+xMoss is a worse commentator than he is coach ... didn’t think that was possible. Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. No wonder he can't motivate his players he talks like a kindergarten teacher.

+xIt's unfortunate how far away Kingston Heath is from the franger railway line, but still it looks like a tidy little complex for a boutique 5k seater. I remember when I lived in the CBD and didn't bother with a car taking my bike to Cheltenham station and riding the rest of the way. Awful. Fortunately just like the Berger's Olympic Villiage, there's loads of parking across the road at the nearby mall for drivers, and it's generally empty when matches are on.

+xIf I recall correctly, the food and drink stalls were manned by APIA volunteers judging by their clothing during the Victory game, so hopefully they made a profit off that. I bought enough beers to make sure of it lol Hopefully they do make money, the last thing you want is state clubs making finals, and then making losses because of them being forced by FFA to play at a bigger venue.

+xI don't understand why a club like APIA would move their game away from their original home against Adelaide when in reality only a crowd of 1500 max is what is to be expected. Wouldn't they make a loss playing here as opposed to their home ground? Unless the council has basically let them play here at a minimum cost but even then it would have been better to play this game at Lambert in my opinion. Not their choice, FFA didn't approve Lambert Park.
