Well Poppa's turned every other dud into a regular first team squaddie so good luck to the kid. Suprisingly elrich was one of the few that didn't get a look in and he's done really well over in Adelaide.

He was showing a lot of promise last year, but this year I don't think he's ever put more than 10 minutes worth of effort in a game.

He has serious attitude problems, he frustrates me when I watch him as he just emits the 'total fucks he gives' about melb heart. I wouldn't want him at my club.

I agree with your first view but definitely not the second one at all,he was the man of the match against victory the 2nd time they played and is dangerous on the counter as well

I'm not talking about the one off games of brilliance we see, as everyone is capable of them. I'm talking about that absolute gun of a player who burst onto the scene for Roar that hasn't done a lot since then.. That was 2007 too!

Right now IMO he's a squadie at best and the potential to be anything more is gone.

Don't see the fuss about him. He's scored about 4 goals from 60-70 odd games. Perhaps Poppa can turn it around for him.

I've said it before, if given the right coaching he will turn out to be a decent player. Can't blame him for under performing at Melbourne Heart.

Elrich not getting a look in wasn't a huge surprise with Polenz infront of him.

Glad he's gone to be honest, one of the laziest players in the league if not the most. Hopefully Poppa can bring out the best in him though.

You're flat out wrong on this one sorry. He's been brilliant all season and pre-season. He's probably out-performed Hersi in a lot of cases.

Poppa may well leave Hersi out of the ACL squad because Minniecon has been that good.

That is a hell of a call. Keeping all his wingers is a must because bridge can slot across to make up a second rate CAM. And knowing Mooys injury history, this is essential.

I personally think he will become a good player, especially if he ends up in a good football development environment. He scored 4 good goals (including some screamers) for us last season, despite the fact he only had 4 starts (and some subs, but he only played the equivalent of 6 90 matches all up) and he only had 15 shots (7 on target). He's floundered this season because all of our players have (esp. under JA), and a young 23 year old like him was never going to drag the team forward while the whole team was poor and losing.

At the same time I'm ok with Heart losing him, because ATM he is so much more potential than output, and it will take him some time to get better and regularly play well.
