Tony Pignata confirmed he'd been emailed from Archie's manager. Probably just the manager trying to drum up the price, he reckons.
No way he'll be at Sydney

Edited by Lastbroadcast: 10/3/2014 09:12:09 PM This, he's off contract, nearly done and victory are hardly going to want to pay him anything more than a token contrat. Going to Sydney risks the golden mega statue that will be built in his honour outside AAMI Park alongside one of Kevin Muscat snapping Zahra like a twig. Agree with the above, it's literally inconceivable to anyone that he could play for any other A-League team.
Pushing for a better contract renewal by inferring competition, oldest trick in the book.

Archie to Sydney FC?? Please, he can suck a fat one.
The fact that Pignata confirmed the email approach means it stopped right there..

No way he'll be at Sydney Happened a few times already and the reason why we're constantly linked to a ton of players. We're like the boogeyman of the A-league used by agents to scare other clubs into overpaying their clients.

I really can't see why any club would be interested in Archie for next season, its a mystery why he is still a marquee. After Muscat hang around like a bad smell well past his use by date, you would think Muscat would give Archie another deal.

He'll probably get some good money to play a season in the Chinese first division. Once he's finished there with 1 goal from 20 appearances Tony Sage will chase after him.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

That might well happen, but he'd surely get more goals than that (especially if their assistant refs are slow to raise the flag!) Did you see our game against CCM?

Why isn't this in rumour mill, pala?
Do not want Archie at Jerks. Ever since he said the anti-vaccine thing I have lost all respect for him & would rather a local young striker/winger be given a chance ahead of him tbh.
Also scares me that the Jerks are apprently after this player and that, without having lined up a coach for next year yet.
