That bite may have cost him more than he first thought, the news is that he wants out of Liverpool with Real and Barcelona etc. chasing him but will they want him now? Particularly if he gets a lengthy ban which he should, what more does he have to do, bite someones ear off?

Suarez went for the bite late in the match just before the goal. Maybe he was thinking any ban will be for Uruguay and he can have an extended holiday from international duty after the world cup or maybe he doesn't like it in England and thinks if he goes for another bite Liverpool will sell him.

He's an absoloute grub of a human being. Everytime I think he's improved, he goes on and does somthing stupid like this again. The only thing I can think of is he has inexusable rushes of blood to the head, and his natural reaction is to bite something/someone. Really feel sorry for his mother when/if she breast fed him. One could argue she didn't. But no, given that this is the third undeniable event of actually biting, FIFA surely can't deny it. Hopefully he's banned from not just the remainder of the World Cup, but from international matches for some time. Did read somewhere earlier he could face a 2-year international suspension, and/or 20 matches. Have in addition to that read that Liverpool have had a meeting regarding Suarez over this incident, and they will potentially terminate his contract should he be found guilty. I would fully applaud Liverpool in sacking him on the spot should he be found guilty, and I'd understand 100% why they'd do it too. I think that'd be the end of his career both at club level and international. Undeniably an extremely talented player, but would any top flight, well reknowned club really want to be associated with somebody who has such a reputation for flesh. I mean he may have an obsession with ' The Walking Dead', but this is taking it too far!!! I'd be surprised if he got a gig in any top 4 league in Europe, and any club that signs him following surely must include in his contract that he must wear a Jason Voorhees mask. Grub of a human being, and after the whole sook incident over his Liverpool contract saga last season, all respect for the man has gone. Throw the book at him.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

does anyone else think he has 'issues' from growing up? I know that he grew up in the poorest area of Uruguay which is saying something... and I just wonder if he actually might need help. You may bite someone once (which is crazy right there) but 3 times I would send him to psyche and see WHY he's doing this. It would be very interesting to find out.

Heiny I agree it'd be awesome if Liverpool sacked him on those grounds but honestly I can see a heap of clubs in the top 4 Euro leagues that wouldn't care about his checkered past and would be happy to sign him.
I predict his time in England is done, but I predict him to run riot in the UCL for many more years.

There has to be a new FIFA rule:
Beware the danger of a malnourished Suarez. Keep away from him at all times. Do not get him wet, and do not retaliate. He is a beast among humans, tread lightly.

:lol:Maths says you are more likely to be bitten by Luis Suarez than a shark Quote:You can’t argue with maths…
We’ll level with you, when we saw this story first, we thought it was from The Onion. But no, this story originates from the respectable organ that is the New Statesman. Their man Ian Steadman decided to crunch the numbers on Luis Suarez after the Uruguayan committed his third act of on-pitch opponent chewing in just under four years. Using Suarez’ total of 441 games as a pro, that works out at a bite every 147 games. Then, using the fact that he will face 14 different opponents per game, that works out at three bites on a total of 6,160, or roughly one in 2,000. Therefore, if you play against him you are much more likely to get bitten than you are bitten by a shark in the ocean, where the odds are a monstrous one in 3.7million. Some folks resented this comparison, saying it was not fair to compare the two as the shark figure was for fatalities and it counted all the oceans around America, much of which are shark free. Better to compare a shark heavy area as that would be more comparable to being on the pitch with Chewy Luis. The writer picked New Smyrna Beach, Florida, known as the shark attack capital of the world, according to the article. With 22,464 inhabitants, and four shark attacks so far in 2014, that works out at one in 2,808 chance if you live in the town, assuming all swim once a year. That is still above the odds a Luis Suarez opponent faces. The record year of attacks, 28 in 2008, would mean the odds are about one in 800. With average somewhere between the two, playing against Suarez is similarly dangerous to swimming in an area known for shark attacks.

People calling for a life-long ban are retarded.
He'll be banned for 10-12 international games. FIFA are unlikely to overstep their jurisdiction. And really Liverpool benefit from him being suspended from internationals, being that he won't have to travel half way across the world 5 times a season.

So he's banned until October 26th? That's 9 EPL games, 1 cup match (potentially two) and 3 Champions league matches - including 9 internationals that's a total of 22 games. They haven't left a lot of room for more serious infractions.
