Genuine down to earth nice guy. I ran into Andy Harper about 6 years ago at Etihad. I was coming out of the loo (lvl 2 corporate box section) and he was walking in and we did the whole awkward walk into each other and both try to go around and you end up going the same way thing. After a quick chuckle I realized who it was and gave him a "Harps!" I think he was stoked that someone recognised him.

So a few weeks I had Rhyan Grant come through my bar. Tonight I had David Warner. He came in to watch the Parramatta v Dogs game. He was in with a mate who looks like a fucking Yoga teacher. He was sporting a pretty healthy looking beard. He clearly didn't want anyone to recognize him, because he wasn't that joyful when I picked up on who he was.   Edited by Heineken: 16/8/2014 03:42:11 AM

As to beer, it is simple - tastes like shit. Is that you Richo? or maybe it might be Albo... Penny Wong. To clarify; I am not affiliated with any faction within the party, and most especially not with the NSW right. So I guess we won't be seeing Prime Minister Humbert any time soon then.

Prior to that it was a struggle in particular for the Aussie bands in the early 90s. I remember Johnny Diesel was one guy I thought who was way underrated for an artist and deserved more plaudits for his music. LRB, Air Supply, INXS did that. Daggy, but true. AC/DC??? Good mention Colin. Forgot about them. Bit past my era though, thats probably why I didn't mention them. Three of the best posters on here, all together.... and yes, add ACDC for cracking the US in the late 70s. Easybeats had UK success in the late 60s, but couldn't crack America. Billy Thorpe might rate a mention also..... ? C'mon guys. Seriously?!!!! The one band that cracked it, and I means smashed the US like no-one before or since was... MEN AT WORK, with their Business as Usual album Wiki: Quote:Business as Usual was one of the most successful albums internationally by an Australian group. It spent an unprecedented 15 weeks at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 from late 1982 to early 1983; and five weeks at No. 1 in the United Kingdom Albums Chart in early 1983
