The article is written by the US-abc a leftist media outlet- I could have chosen MANY other sources that reported the previous funding cuts, but as biased as that article is, I chose it to deny the likes of you an easy way out. Of course, true to their politic beliefs, the abc deliberately omits the $8 million cut in direct police funding that happened in December. And predictably, contains not a word on the massive spike in violent crimes that followed the cuts and after the loss of 25% of their police officers. I never said the article was good... The city recorded 5,422 violent crime incidents, including homicides, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults, according to preliminary year-end Minneapolis police statistics. That is a dramatic jump over the previous five years, which averaged roughly 4,496 such crimes. Property crime saw a more modest 10% increase. It's unknown how many schools have adopted the Equitable Math curriculum, but its website lists "partners" that include the Association of California School Administrators, Monterey County Office of Education, the Sacramento County Office of Education, Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley and several more that are mostly headquartered in California. Fox News, though, reported that the Oregon Department of Education has encouraged its teachers to register for the Equitable Math training, while a radio station in Seattle reported that a version of it is already functioning at schools there

The three major broadcast networks joined CNN and MSNBC Wednesday in avoiding mention of sexual harassment claims against Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo during their evening news programs. According to Grabien transcripts, ABC's "World News Tonight," CBS' "Evening News," and NBC's "Nightly News" made no mention of the embattled Cuomo, who is facing calls for his impeachment and resignation after he was accused of covering up the number of deaths from COVID-19 in state nursing homes following his controversial order that assisted living facilities accept COVID-positive patients.

I don't accept opinions from leftist media such as AP, NYT, CNN, NPR, CNBC, The Guardian, and Factcheck.org because as I've seen too many examples when the numbers don't fit their preferred narrative, they introduce a "But" to cast doubt on facts they don't like.
