I would have thought it was sold out by now but have nothing to base my opinion on

Interesting a about extra transport home. I would hazard a guess not but haven't looked into it.

Canberra averaging about 8k with 2 games played in awful weather and all games at 6pm k/o or earlier. How do people think this fares in FFA eyes for a football club based in the city?

Also can't help but feel 22k @ Allianz would have absolutely kicked ass, 22k @ ANZ is still awful.

This will be interesting. I am going to Australia v Bangladesh & Ireland v UAE at the Gabba. The Ireland v UAE game is on a Wednesday and could be comparable to say the Iraq v Jordan game at Suncorp for attendance. It may end up lower than 6K too which would be a good win for football.

Correct - 2 group games had less than 1000, 11 had less than 10,000, the others had a host nation involved with massive crowds (60,000 in Indonesia and Vietnam for example, 40,000+ for Thailand and Malaysia).

Only one quarterfinal was above 15,000, semi-finals only had 12,500 and 10,000 respectively.

We shall see tonight

Well I'll agree that 11500 of the 12500 were probably cheering for China. In my bay with not many Chinese seated in it everyone was going for China anyway.
