The police will definitely charge her with assault. If there was video evidence like there is here, there's no doubt she's used excessive force and would get a conviction.

For the overly precious men speculating on here, common assault generally requires a complaint from the victim unless the harm is considered significant by authorities. For example, the victim is "bleeding and crying." If Swift took a swing at a guy, who either received appreciable harm or reported the incident to police they would be obliged to charge her with assault. It is unlikely, despite her badassery, that someone of her frame could cause appreciable harm to your average male with a single swing however.

I'd speculate if the average guy got punched by T-Swift he would likely just boast about getting close to her rather than file a complaint. If she continued to beat on him (or used a mic/mic stand as a weapon) then yeah, damage is highly likely and she would most definitely be charged with assault.

The law in this case is equal, it doesn't consider gender it considers action and consequence. Though because the victim is female all of a sudden a bunch of male internet hardasses come waltzing in swinging their e-cocks around complaining about an imaginary double standard that victimises them.
